Some wisdom does come with age, doesn't it? I was hoping one of the younger guys looking to understand women would sit through it and share notes. Lawrd knows I haven't figured women out yet!

Because of my age and limited time left here on earth, I had to give up watching at 6 minutes but already figured out why wife number-one left him after 11 years, totally surprising him and without him having a clue as to why.

Most men want to fix things, especially where their women is concerned.

But women like to tell you about things that are bothering them and just have you listen. Most times they are not looking for a fix or a suggestion, they just want you to listen.

A wise man learns how to give the appearance that he's listening intently to his sweetheart, without actually listening to her.

We have Denon amplifier and 12" JBL Studio speakers in the living room, but most of the music that we listen to is Pandora over my wife's Boise speakers on her computer.

There have been some excellent songs posted on this thread as well, which I listen to long enough to see if if fits my mood.

Twenty years ago I bought 2 B&W 804,s speakers with a Classe amp ,pre and cd player.=a Canadian co.
The speakers were then 5K
If I needed to work at your house I may have to push my truck there so I say this humbly.
With all that and over 1300 store bought cds and a plethora of cds I made I really listen to music more on my computer and a blue tooth Harmon Kardon.
My Mia freaked out over a suround sound I got just to watch music videos so I never could use that.

My older Brother is very accomplished with a guitar .
I love classical guitar and fortunate to have seen the Andres Segovia in Avery Fisher Hll in 77 and at Westbury music fair i dont remember when

My dad played guitar and I took lessons, only to discover that it was practice, practice, practice and was painful until I eventually grew callouses on my sore fingers.

Imagine my dismay to discover that it wasn't something that I could just put down and pick up again next month, because I lost those callouses and had to go through the pain part again.
