People like myself who have owned the breed for the last 18 years are not the ones with cynical attitudes. We are the ones who have to deal with it.

Not sure why you felt the need to say this twice but you have no idea what you are talking about.
I'm not sure what your saying, if your referring me to mentioning your dog, I don't even know what kind of dog you have until maybe a couple of minutes ago when you said PB. I was thinking from the perspective of a dog in the sense dogs don't judge each other for looks, probably how they behave but certainly not from looks.

So, what is it that I don't know what I'm talking about, please enlighten me.
By the way I am an animal lover, I care for the life of all animals. People not so much.

I gotta stand up for the wiener dog here even tho, they are not my favorite dog, I know folks that have them and depend on their emotional support and most of those dogs are spoiled lapdogs but in some cases, just what is needed.
not every dog is the right dog and I’m glad there are folks who love them and think they are the best dogs ever. Here’s to the wiener dogs 😊

realized it had no options and it was my buddy after that.
we have a neighbour..I was at his place.. his dog went nuts at me..
I said whats up...he said well you challenged”it”.....by looking at it in the eye..
I laughed so hard..
it came over to our yard and tried the same psycho thing on me again
I chased it all the way home...saying I am gonna l kick your ass...
the dog learned who wasn't top of the totem pole..
we were good after that forever ..and all in all happier dog

I couldn't handle the constant cleaning up after a bird. My friend had a big parrot or whatever it was and it would mess all the time and they live forever plus it never got to fly so I'm assuming it was never happy and it would bite too.If it doesn't go outside to do it's business ,it's not for me.
99.9% of people should not have a pet bird like that. It takes an eccentric person to provide the care a bird so intelligent needs.
