I like the old shows. I haven’t seen any show newer than King Of The Hill. I’m not a big TV watcher anyway but most of what’s current today is vile filthy shit and it’s not welcome in my home.

Wife watches in the heat of the night a lot.

When I was little, maybe around four or five I used to listen to Uncle Remus on an AM radio station. They would have episodes of Brer Rabbit. And there was a children’s show that came on, I think it may have been a Christian radio station that I enjoyed.
I was dads shadow and he spent a lot of time down in the woods cutting firewood.
When it got dark I was generally in the cab with my dog staying warm.
I remember one night hearing a cat scream close by. It made my blood turn cold and I almost panicked. My dog was scared too.
We left dad and jumped in the cab like the devil was on our tails.
I grew up building mud dams in the creek and I am very happy that my children will be raised in the country too. Same land as I grew up on.

I really like Sanford and Son that was a funny show ...the older cowboy shows seen all them because my grandparents watched them. Have Gun Will Travel was my favorite. Started watching TV in the 50s
