My adult kids came home for the holiday and it seems like only yesterday I was trying to put their Christmas toys together without saying F*ck out load.
I'd say as long as you have a good relationship with your kids, times when they are 5, 15, or 25 are all equally good in their own way. But the times when they are 2-10 are special and they go by in a flash.

I’m close to my dad. Very close. My wife and my father are the two most important people in my life.
We live within a couple minutes and that’s nice as my parents get older.
I hope my boys love me that much. They do now, I guess it will stay the same. Most of it has to do with how you raised them. Most times it’s the parents fault
One of my boys is the sweetest little boy. So happy.
My oldest is a fucking War Hawk. 200% independent. Quick to anger. Defiant. He hit me a few days ago when he was mad. We had to sit down and have a talk about that. Dad always sat me down and explained the ass whooping, why I was getting it. What should I have done differently? Then time to pay the Piper and have stinging ass cheeks for a while.
