That's a very high fever DB, 106 that should be looked at by medical people. That is dangerous.
You very well might have died, that's what the vaccine was meant for. To prevent the worst from happening, if your a person who has other health issues, this could mean the difference of dying or not. I've had several vaccinations but I have never caught covid, which I am grateful because of the 2 lung diseases I have. So I don't know how well it would protect me.
My Mrs has had covid twice without any major issues, unlike the 2 times with the flu and then turning to pneumonia, which almost killed her. I don't think I've ever been so sad in my life as I was when her doctor told me to contact her next of kin. My world fell apart in that moment.
My Mrs has lung disease as well, different from mine.
My son and family didn't get the vaccine, hell, they even moved out of the country because of it.

Evening folks! Was busy all day between trimming, compactor run, etc...Some presents came in from K's parents. I got a $35 can of peanuts(!!!), Hershey's miniatures, and 2 CDs-Sandinista and Shaboozy's latest so I've got that going for me. Left-overs for dinner. I'm having a slice of rib-roast on toast and an Italian sausage on a 'known brand' of bun. K will figure something out, she definitely having salad.
Almost forgot, joint lit, beer cracked and all's right in my world.

The Mrs has wound up in the hospital twice with the flu and yet she has been vaccinated. She might not be good example as she takes immune suppressant drugs.
The last time I had the flu was 20 years ago, I was so sick my hair hurt. I started getting the vaccination after that. Now with the asbestosis I dont want to take any chances.
My last family doctor wouldn't get the covid vaccine to the point he quit his job and moved out of country. Yet he advised me to get the vaccine.
It's all personal choices.
