Antibiotics...life saver or life taker, depends on the individual.

When I was septic I had to take several different antibiotics to find one that would work. They were powerful antibiotics, I did not feel well from either the sickness/antibiotics.

What was fortunate, is the fact my family doctor diagnosed the sepsis. I recall him saying to me your septic, ok, what is that. I found out many doctors fail to diagnose sepsis from regular bacterial infections. People end up dying because of how fast your body is taken over with blood poisoning. Good thing he took my blood pressure.

My wife was given a topical MRSA infection by a crappy nurse. During the 1st nine days in the hospital they gave her several courses of antibiotics including Cipro. The infection only got worse. We finally told them to stop the antibiotics. There was a lot of pushback and we ended up signing against medical advice paperwork to get them to stop.

At this point the infection was at its worse since the start. I sprayed the area of infection with colloidal silver for 2 days 3 - 4 times a day. By the 3rd day the infection was on it's way out, she was cured.

3 doctors questioned me about what I did and why I did it. I explained and they stood there scratching their heads. Colloidal silver is used on severe burn patients to prevent infections. She had a topical infection, seemed like common sense to me. IV antibiotics not working let's try something topical.

Now my question to you is. Did the colloidal silver work? Did her body clear it up on it's own ? Or was there just delay in the antibiotics working? How would anyone know and how could it be proven?

Colloidal silver is an antibiotic. An old remedy that ostensibly can't be patented................

I was not familiar with MRSA, according to what I read several antibiotics don't work against it. Sounds like something that could become very serious in short order.

Whatever cured your wife's infection, sounds like it was a good thing. A controlled experiment would be the only way to find out for sure what worked what didn't. However, your approach seemed to stop the bacteria but how do you know for sure. Unless it was a combination of treatment that worked.

The good thing, your wife is ok.
