Ya - and I heard reports that this Luigi was living in pain from spondylitis of the spine - which he tried to get fixed - but wasn't happy with the treatment - so went and killed the CEO of the med insurance company that he thought had let him down - perhaps many people can sympathise as to why he got mad enough to go out and murder the someone - he felt was responsible 🤔

- to me sure - it has mitigating circumstances - but does that justify going out and murdering someone? - I think not -
And the guy has an attorney who was on the other side for apparently some 20+ years and knows just about everyone currently working there down to the clerks where the trial is going to be held. And likewise, is one very sharp cookie, to boot. They are going to have to convince a jury of his peers now that his intention in 1st degree murdering this fellow was to create terror amongst the populace as a whole. They are really going to have their work cut out for them for this to pass muster and convince the jury overall of this. It also would not surprise me if the defense does not present psychological evidence of a deranged state, akin to a temporary insanity plea. Given his medical maladies, and his young age, his apparent intellect, and the enhanced prosecutor charges, this will he a highly charged case to watch.

I like taking the blame for something I had nothing to do with. Just like Social Security. It's all my fault the gov't took 5% of my pay check for SS for the last 50 years. That's MY $ and I want it NOW....
@Putembk -- If it makes you feel any better, you can genuinely point to one summon-a-bench that beat the system. I was a junior in High School and got a job in a print shop part time.

When I got my first paycheck, I was astonished to discover that after taxes... there was a tax I never heard of: Social Security. Astonished, and genuinely felt cheated, somehow.

Well, I began to get my money back instead of paying it in... starting in the last century! Yup. Been collecting SS payments since before the end of the last millennium. Got all mine back. In multiples.

Hey!! Youse guys got another fargin ex-GI drone on board: ME <-- I get dinged helmet dough as well as ancient creature dough from Unca Sugar. Oh... and since I have essentially no income... I always get a tax refund.

Ganj on, Brother! Yer Unca is leading point. Just follow my DFD plan*** and you, too, will beat them.

my moms friend makes kimchi! that stuff smells strong but tastes great with grilled meat
Oh, jeebus! Kimche: A low grade of cabbage that is so bad, they soak it in salt water until it gets all shitty. Then they add a fermented fish sauce. They might chuck in radishes, or cucumbers, whatever happens to be around.

This stuff smells exactly like an open sewer. So they bury it in big, fittingly poop-colored ceramic pots. <-- TINS. This is a very good idea.

But then they dig it up and eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every day with every meal.

Heart problems can do that. Make you tired. Boo

I was thinking about you the other day when I was reading about a condition related to the asbestosis I have and that is "bendopnea" the information said people with heart issues experience it as well. It made me wonder if you experience it. Where you lose your breath quickly when bending over.
Oh, yeah. Mongo gots that one.

That forces me to remember my very first gold smuggling run from Hong Kong - to Seoul Korea - on Korean Airlines 😄 - the whole plane STUNK of Kimchi - you couldn't get away from it - because it was on nearly everyone's breath - and ya couldn't even hide in the toilet - because it was even worse in there -

Kimchi is the Korean version of sourkraut - with lotsa chili's - and by all accounts is healthwise - very good for you - and after being around it for so long - I actually like to eat it these days - 😆

All that and it is amazing how tasty kimche is!

I do not equate kimche with sauerkraut for a very good reason:

I do not have sauerkraut with every single meal every single day.

The stuff I hadda learn... jeez.

Morning gang. Cold here in Dixie. 27. Fire is roaring. Warming the house back up
Woke up to dog piss, second time that’s happened. Ole sarge just bought himself the opportunity to sleep outside from now on. I prefer him outside. If anyone sneaks around at night, I want my 120 lb Doberman out there to make some stink till I can get up and scope it out.
Wife let him in last summer, And he did fine till a month ago. He went out before we went to bed at midnight. If you can hold it six hours you ain’t coming in.

Nothing like mopping up dog piss while holding a baby to keep him from tracking through it all.

This is the mantle I built using rough cut planks. Still have to install the trim to seal in the sides to the brick. And paint the attachment screws. Most of the screws to put it together are from the rear so they don’t show. There are some in front that had to be there. I don’t like the look, I’ll be swapping out with brass screws shortly. They will at least have a more refined look about them.
That wood came from our land. A local guy down the road sawed the lumber.

Nice job!

You can also countersink the screws and put a dowel plug in the hole or fill it with a mixture of sawdust and glue.

Before anyone gets all sad, sarge has a 6x6 dog house with temp controlled heat lamp. He’s just fine. Jive ass bastard. He been stealing from the kitchen counter too. Just can’t help it😂
That was me that posted the sad emoji, and it was from considering how as a pack animal Sarge will feel banned outdoors, with the rest of the pack, including dogs indoors and sad that there wasn't another solution.

He’s an only dog. We can still come in during the day but he’s always slept outside. Wife let him in for the night this summer. I wasn’t keen on it from the start. I like my dog outside at night for prowlers to find.
