Holy cripes! Surprised with 'burns like that the allowed you in the same room with testing and research equipment, lol. In my JD class there were a few folks who had longish hair and sideburns (I did not), bur not many. And by the time people went out to sell their wares after, they all totally cleaned up their act. I remember one fella in particular that was like the class "hippy", and he looked totally different by the time he was applying to firms. Did they test you for anything ever when you looked like that, or was that pretty short lived? Would think they might be suspicious of evil herb usage. In my group they would have tested for being drunk. Bunch of hard core drinkers! Would guess some aren't around.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary... it recorded the the phrase "lovers lane" in 1853.
For us contemporary people the car took us to "lovers lane" back in 1853 it would have been horse and buggy.

Yeah. You have to remember that the Red party controls the House, and as such they initiate all spending bills. I did just enough research on this after initially being pissed at more spending to realize that there were a bunch of folks who had in real life payed into Social Security who were being totally gypped because of an obscure language technicality that Congress apparently did not foresee when the bill was initially passed years ago that influenced this irregularity. Imagine paying into SS your whole life, with your hard earned wages being deducted, and fully qualifying otherwise, but not receiving a dime of your money! Bad enough that Reagan first initiated and then Clinton expanded it when they decided to TAX what is your rightful POST TAX SS money otherwise! I hope the Big Orange Guy does something about that.

my fatigue is caused my a lung infection I got from keeping chickens...had them for decades and then began with the cough...gettin old ain't easy...

I was getting a medical scan at the hospital and something was spotted beyond what they were looking for.
They found a fungal disease in my spleen called histoplasmosis, usually found in the lungs but can spread. It was suggested I got it from cleaning my chicken coop.

I was told it would not be a problem unless my health deteriorated then it could be a big problem.

When working for a friend who did bridge demolition, we were taking down a timber frame bridge. I was removing some aluminum cladding that had been wrapped around some beams and posts. Under the cladding was the names of local people who used the bridge as a "lovers lane" there was a hand printed historical record(40s-50s) of who kissed who and when they were kissed. It was kind of neat to see. This job was in a town I knew and was familiar with some of the names.
