I’m with OM!..

if elected Mayor , I will put pot in every chicken!..

feeling my age Amigo , thanks for asking

enjoy that snow today!..😂

sounds like a good day for some hot soup!

my favorite is potato soup!..

what is your favorite soup?…
I absolutely love potato soup. I'm saving leftover mashed tatters so I can make a slurry for my potato soup.
I use the recipe my Mrs. taught me that her mom taught her growing up in Michigan.

Yesterday I made ham & bean soup, 2 meals worth. 4 1/2 hrs to complete.
One of my favorite soups is Borsch, it takes some effort but it freezes up well and best to make a few meals at a time.
Before my body gave out on me I was working at a local provincial historic site. I couldn't believe how much soup we sold all spring, summer and fall. Even in the peak of summer you didn't want to run out of soup.

We also like beef and chicken soups.

That will really be nice. Water is a pain to haul. I think it is abut 8lbs/gal.
As an engineering student, I memorized one number that can easily be used when determining the weight of water or any other liquid.

That number is 0.0361 lb/in3, which is the weight of one cubic inch of water in pounds.

There are 231 cubic inches per gallon, so one gallon water would be 231 X 0.0361 = 8.3391 lbs

Or one cubic inch on any other liquid is 0.0361 X the Specific Gravity of that liquid.

A gallon of any other liquid would weigh 8.3391 lbs X the Specific Gravity of that liquid.

My favorites are bean and bacon, or French Onion.

I forgot to mention baked onion soup, ok I'm a soup abuser. I will attend a meeting later today and see if i can get my soup urges under control.

Hi GW:)

I was going to add some bits of bacon to my ham & bean soup yesterday but the bacon got eaten before hand.
Good afternoon Old Man! Bacon and onion improve the taste of almost anything.
