Property taxes are the single worst screw job in the country.

Ya - if I can get this deal discussed with the mortgage brokers - it'll be a 5 year mortgage - at around 4.6% - by then the kids will most probably have their own places to live (she will be 21 - and he 19) - and maybe then I can sell up and buy a caravan - by the sea - since there is more equity - than what is still owed concerning the apartment - could even rent it out - then rent a caravan (mobile home) - 60-70 miles away - down on the south coast somewhere -

It’s cold here. No snow but cold wind keeps me inside. I hoping for a white Christmas. I love snow and haven’t seen much of it in 35 years but it did snow pretty good our first year back enough to build a snowman. Hope you have a more relaxing days today

Snow sucks. We had 8 feet of it in 8 days at the cabin last yr and were trapped for 7 weeks with no power and no way to get the car out.

Got to take a ride over the fence courtesy of Daves mule yesterday morning.
Fortunately I was in close proximity when he decided to kick and it was more a toss.......that landing though.

Took a trip to the er for some imaging to shut the wife up.
Nothing cereal so drugs,jacuzzi and time.

My fault for running Daves sil off.
Waiting for the drugs and coffe to kick in so I can go pitch them some feed this morning.

I got to admit I do NOT care for mules at all and starting to feel the same about horses.

The wild burros of Oatman Az are a hoot and a half.

Uncle kept a pair on the ranch as watchdogs. Did a far better job than the lazy assed dogs ever did at snuffing coyotes.

Only got tossed off the half broke Indian pony Unc had gotten in trade for some truck parts once before he and I had a little 2x4 talk.

Wow, that’s a lot of snow 8’. We only get snowed in for a few days around these parts. Snowed in is not so bad for a bit….

Property taxes are high here too!

I think it was a 37 Ford, but it was gone by the time I got interested in cars.

I don't remember the photo session, but clearly my feelings were hurt. Good chance my butt as well.

I had a Jackass named General Jackson growing up that had loads of personality but wasn't a fun ride. He could also suddenly skid to a stop from a dead run with both front feet splayed out in front of him and put me over his head in a dead run to keep from face planting.

I got my property tax notice yesterday and this year just for the right to own dirt. I have to pay $13,000 and change. I live so far out I don’t get anything from my money. The roads suck and unfortunately the neighborhood is changed so much in 25 years Were 85% asshole and 15% old timers that have been here for over a decade… I heard rumor that one of the people down the road who have a very expensive home and real estate to go with. It have not made any mortgage payments in 19 months. every time I go by I wonder what the future holds for that place.

Lowes sells 100 lbs tanks for $225. They hold 23. 6 gallons. I have 2 and a couple propane delivery companies on speed dial.
