Evening folks! Nice day but I was 'stove up' most/all of it. I didn't get much of the list done, went to pick up the trash and decided 'manana' would be best. I did get a couple of important things done and a nice nap. Pork chops for dinner.

peace

There is currently as much as a $7,500 rebate on some electric vehicles from the and subsidized by the government….at the end of the day the American taxpayer foots the bill.

On January 20th that will go poof like a fart in the wind. Better get yours NOW DB before it goes boom!
Wait until the old folks on medicare get the huge premium increase. Biden spent the medicare money on those EV tax credits. The rate increase should have kicked in August. But they robbed peter to pay paul in order to hide the increase until after the election. It kicks in 1/1/25 as i understand it.

That means folks Social Security checks will decrease.

I have a camry hybrid and they warranty the battery for 10 years. I bought it because it was a left over and was cheaper than the gasoline version. It does get great mileage and I like it a lot but I still prefer my truck. I think they should have went to hybrid accross the board and continued to make the engines smaller as technology advances and maybe the engines could be the size of a loaf of bread in time. I need a truck so a pure ev truck wouldn't work for me because I need range and I use it all the time. Maybe one day I'll get one but at this point I simply don't trust the government and if they recommend it ,I'm skeptical.
Toyota's hybrid technology is rock solid and time tested.

Toyota has not jumped in to the EV market with both feet because the battery technology is 100 years old. Changing the chemistry and metals isn't the advancement people think it is.

EV's won't become a real viable option for most people until solid state batteries become affordable and charging infrastructure improves greatly.

Battery technology is growing geometrically, and hydrogen technology is also making inroads, but the prices for new EV's are absurd.

I read the original General Motors EV study on their test vehicles, and they determined that they were not profitable because there was only the initial build income without the repair parts income. Looks like they are trying to get their money up front.
It takes more energy to produce hydrogen than what you get out of it.

It ranks up there with windmills and solar farms where they get hail and tornados.

I've always wondered what % of people buy new cars every 3 years and what % have a lien. The way I look at it is if i have to take out a loan to buy a car i can't afford it .

The new Spider farmer LED(450W) is very bright, covers the tent better than previous LED.
I need to put the temperature gauge in there to see how much heat is put out. The last LEDs in there kept the temp around 28C-32C or 82F-90F depending on the season. Might be able to grow into the beginning of June depending on the year and how hot it is outside. Can grow into late May for sure.
Anyhow, the new light seems OK, l will look forward to this crop.
Just wish I hadn't dropped the sprouts on the floor, it limited my selection.
