Do the predrilled holes last all season? Just maybe have to open them up a bit since their last use? I guess you flag them in some way. I need to watch a youtube

They could last all season and as you say you might have to open them up.
That's where ice drills come in handy.
They make them for gas or batteries.
When a hole freezes up it's harder to redrill cuz freezes back harder.

Hello there Pute, the wife is doing fine, feisty as ever. She would go down fighting before giving up. I know all about her feistiness
She is permanently on antibiotics, I know she takes two different antibiotics on a regular basis. She takes an immune suppressant drug, it's like she is being pushed and pulled at the same time.

Pute your Christmas tree looks very nice, well done. I bet it looks super nice in the dark!

We don't put up a tree but I do bring out and hang up some bright red crocheted Christmas bells my grandma made me 55 years ago.

I appreciate the kind words Cola, should be a pretty simple operation...Mom spent half my childhood in the hospital with bleeding ulcers and varicose veins...the irish in me wants to die early, the german in me wants to fight...3 years ago I was leg pressing 395lbs. 15 x 4 reps...now I don't go past 200...eyes are going to hell and my back procedure should be in a week or so...I can't keep up with myself...

Yeah. Old age ain't necessarily so the Golden Years. Like what it's advertised to be. For many of us 'Ol Farts. I am relatively healthy, and thank the stars above for what I have. I believe you do to. My folks were both germans. Pop from the old country. Got here one year before hitler slammed the door shut. Lucky. Or I might be speaking Deutsch. GL again tomorrow & next week. Lean on that germanic stoicism to fight any pain. I know you'll pull tough, and pull through.

Happy for the Covid victory…sad for the pills she has to take. I put up the tree for Mrs Pute….sitting by the tree makes her feel like a child again. I love the way she just sits and stares at it.
