My gramps had stashes of candy hidden around the house. Grandma would give him shit for hiding candy. He did not look after himself very well. When he passed away he was not recognizable as my grandfather, he was a shell of his former self. It was so sad to see a big strong man waste away in sickness.
Mine didn't have a sweet tooth, but didn't eat right or take care of himself. He was still a robust man when he froze his feet walking nine miles in the snow, which led to frost bite and infection that cause them to just keep whacking until both legs were off at the hips and he died from shock.
I learned to accept it now and I rarely cry anymore.
Limited to whimpering and sniveling, with occasional sobs.

question?…the tiny house has a power cord that is wired to a breaker box in the house

the cord has a 50 amp male plug on it

my generator has a 30 amp female plug

I have an adapter , 50 amp to 30 amp

if I hook all that together and start my generator , tell me I will be ok and won’t burn the house down?…

I say yes. Your house has more amperage capacity than your generator can supply.

Oily/greasy foods enhance edibles it bigtime. I found out the hard way too. Not fun for me but everyone in the house at that time thought it was funny.....
Yeah me too. Made some brownies with 12 grams of hash once. And ate three big squares. Had to cover up with a blanket. Had to use breathing exercises just to breathe. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe. I was pale as an albino the next day.

No problem at all.
That was just the configuration of the plug that was on the previous owners generator.

Evening folks! Been a busy day with some stuff accomplished. Tomorrow is another day and the list is LONG, but it has to be done. I'm hoping K naps so I can knock a couple things off the list. Breakfast for dinner.

peace

no problem
That plug configuration was what was on the generator that the previous owner had.
Your generator has a circuit breaker protecting the generator and the panel has circuit breakers which would trip if any overload.
I have a little 1000 watt honda and i have run heat and ref if I manage their on times

My head says that 50-amp cord on the tiny house is a 240-volt feed and your 30 amp gen plug is a 120 Volt single phase.
You can power both legs on the 240V from the single phase if needed. Things needing 240 V like water heaters and ranges won't work.

It's how I power up the whole cabin when, So Cal Edison is down (squirrel farts)

I remember Lemon/Rohers, but mostly bath-tub ludes...about like 3 valium.
When I 'wikied', it brought up Mandrax. After a summer of oil exploration, in the Texas heat/humidity, all I had to show for it was a few #'s of 'nice' mexican brick weeds and a few hundred pills. It was a profitable summer, but I want my 40 years back!
I'd have done more drugs, fucked more bitches, made more money.
I could have been a contender:

The name Mandrax rang a bell. Have not heard that name in ages. Never cared for pills and still don't. I do take morphine everyday but not to get high. I don't even like the high from morphine. But it helps keep my chronic pain levels down.

I would have stayed on the family farm and lived a quiet and peaceful life, that would be my redo.

If you have a four wire 30-amp circuit with an adaptor to four wire 50 amp, it shouldn't be an issue. As JM notes, the generator should also have its own protection and it's capacity is less than your cord or service.

What is your cord wire size and are you talking 30 amp 120V or 240V?

living off grid is a new but somewhat familiar experience

we haul water up from the creek in 5 gallon buckets for washing dishes and other things

drinking water is procured at Swedes sisters homestead which is the 20 acres next to us

we take showers indoors and cook on a two burner propane stove

have to get an adapter , 30 amp male on one end to plug into the generator and a 50 amp female end to plug in the tiny home

this is like glamorous camping 😂💪🏻😂
I did a lot of this back in my 20's.

"Running water": ran down to the creek and filled up 5gal buckets.
We'd boil it to purify.
My first 'stove' in 1982 was a Coleman 2 burner propane. I still have it.
Showers were sponge baths.
"Glamping" you are!

Big you missed your calling!

Your photographs are really artistic!

You have 'the eye' to frame the shot!

Fantastic!

These last couple days have been interesting.

My heart is all a flutter! It comes and goes. Normal rate is @ 60bpm and then it shoots up to 150bpm for an hour, so I lie down to 'settle down'. It seems to work.

It doesn't happen often, but lately it seems to be more frequent.

Have betablockers in hand but taking 1/4 of the 25mg. I'm leery of drugs and getting habited to them.

Looked into cardio ablation. Just 'looking' as I'm not so sure I want some doc zapping my circuitry.

Anyone else been through A-flutter, or similar?

I developed A-fib one time when my blood electrolytes got out of whack with the flu. Once that was corrected, I haven't had a reoccurrence.
