I chop before lights on. That's it.

I don't know if an extended dark period makes a difference, have tried it but didn't do it as a controlled experiment. So I don't know if it changed anything or not. .

Done as a controlled experiment with lab work to follow, in mind is the only way to know for sure. I might not be best at noticing differences. Others might be better at those kind of details.
In my experience it doesn't matter. What does matter is the moon phase. Ask any farmer for some rules of thumb.

Dog I went to the pork store today. Got one of those beef briskets never have seen one except cooked. Looked like it needed a LOT of trimming up. It was giant but I put it in my cart anyway. They said whole brisket for 6.99/lb. Then I rolled a bit farther and saw these which appeared to be the same thing only already trimmed up (a bit more per pound tho but worth it to me) so I traded the one in my cart for it. I’m gonna try to smoke it on my gas grill like we talked about low and slow. The lady working there told me that this was a good rub for it.
I hope I don’t screw it up. I never made one so any additional tips would be helpful. I need to get some wood chips, what kind do I get?

Evening folks! Home from eating out at Long-street Cafe. K had the spaghetti, I had fried fish. I never did get those cuts taken, but I did get in a nap. Beer cracked, joint lit, might watch a little Bama football.

peace

you can say that again..

almost $2 grand just for a perk test on the ground to put in a septic tank and still got denied..

electric hookup is $7-10k..
It's expensive to become dependent on them. That's fucked up. Their business model relies on you being weak. Invest the same money in a different direction and you may have something at the end of it besides your nuts handed to you.

I have never had pneumonia so not sure what to expect but doc said I should start feeling better in 3-4 days…

the doc advised me to go to the VA hospital to find out why I’ve lost about 30 pounds

not one word or question about cannabis use 💪🏻
I've had pneumonia, coughed so much, I had to spend 2 months in physical therapy afterwards. My spinal problems and degenerating bones in my shoulder were highly aggravated by the coughing. I couldn't move to dress myself, my Mrs had to dress me. I also have asbestosis and pleural plaques, those lung disorders didn't help.

My Mrs has had pneumonia 3 times, each time causes damage, she also has COPD. The last time she was in the ICU she almost died from pneumonia. The doctor told me she wouldn't be so fortunate the next time. Pneumonia doesn't always happen for the same reason. Bacterial, viral and fungal organisms can be responsible.

That bone is called a 'baculum. All I can say is, 'it doesn't look like a coon's'.
They think a LOT of their 'stuff'.
Yes it was smaller than a coon I think. Unless a baby coon maybe. About 1/4 the size as coondick. Was wondering what animal it came from
It was a weird store but they have been there a while. I guess there is a need for such a place.

Ahhh 5mph impact bumpers and the 200lbs they added.

I usually had a cigarette hanging from my mouth as I pumped gas. :)

I know I’m not the only one here that remembers those numbers. The lowest I can remember is $.34 a gallon and that was in the 50s I believe…

.23.9 when I started driving at the cheapy "Learner" station.

In Kansas growing up it got below 20 cents a gal several times....17.9 is the lowest I can remember.

18 cents across the street from the Mobil refinery but that was 30 mile drive. Circa 1970

11.9 cents a gallon in Abilene in 1962. <-- it was called locally "drip gas" -- apparently batch leftover or something. Same as regular gas as far as performance.

Happy Birthday Unca

History trivia.
My father drove a 1913 Model T Ford during the worst of the depression mostly on kerosene as it was 7 cents a gallon and gasoline was 9 cents.
They were a bit hard to start on kero so a tiny splash of gas in the carb was usually needed if cold. That 4 to 1 compression was happy to run on low grade fuel and who cared if it smoked a tad.
