13 hours in the saddle is a long time!

Indeed!

but the scenery is outstanding and made the miles shorter

pouring down the caffeine and getting psyched up for todays trip , up the mountain other side of Boise , love the sights in Oregon , and love the drive down the Columbia River , may crash at the Dalles , no hurry for us old farts , especially since we should be hitting rain for the next two days..

moar fecking coffee!..

In that case, I am also quite fond of both squirrel stew and fried squirrel.

This may sound capricious, but you might have some success with a half-dozen or so mousetraps in amongst your tomato plants -- placed in strategic positions. Won't necessarily kill the squiddles, but just one of them running along with a mousetrap stuck on his foot could deter the hell outa the others.

As a kid, we had woodchucks. Whistlepigs. They ate everything in a garden if not controlled.
Have eaten my share of tree dogs when I was younger.
I do need to thin them out around here, they had 2 litters of pups this year.
My dad would love him some tree dog

Now now chaps - let's not get all bent out of shape - it takes all sorts - in any society - ya get the rough and the smooth - the busybody and the loafer - the joker the smoker - the midnight toker etc - and we either tolerate each other or we don't - personally - I'd rather we all got along 😉

exactly

if we focus on what we have in common rather than the uncommon , life is much more tolerable

gawd knows we have more than enough bulkshit to go around that we all can have seconds

cause we’re special , so special!..

Morning :coffee:

Was gifted a cow tung, heart and some liver. Haven't had tung or heart since I was a teenager. Now to cook them and hope they taste as good as I remember them to. We have an insta-pot pressure cooker, so they will be tender just need to make em tasty.

Any suggestion on what herbs and spices to use?

Sun's up. Off we go :whee:
