This is my reconstructed ankle. 14 years ago it was separated from the rest of my foot. I still have no feeling in the area today.
It hurt like hell.
All the skin was gone from friction on the asphalt. Here they only give you morphine 1 hour before death, so the pain lasted for more than 6 months, every bandage change was a disgrace. That was one of five fractures I had that day. Open fracture.
