I would not feel guilty in the least bit.
Weather is weather, no matter where you live, good days and not so good days. However, I would be slightly guilty in not saying I wouldn't mind a longer spring and fall.

Do you have noticeable extended seasonal changes or is it a swift change from one season to another ?

I think my daytime cookie is working I just ate half a bag of tortilla chips.
