Typically the oosik is in reference to a walrus.

Ripley's has a surprisingly readable article about a huge fossilized specimen, including the historical uses, as a seal club, or a sharpened tool, etc.

My memory might fail me some but I remember it being about 10” long a bit curved with a knob at one end. About 50 cent piece in dia. It was for sale at a knife show it was expensive I remember but I don’t know how much. It was over 40 years ago so there is that…
At the moment, the inventory offered at the link I posted above, indicates that their large size oosiks in inventory are 23" long.

The larger specimen in the article from Ripley's was supposedly measured at 40"

I told my wife that, like everything else that's harvested in Alaska for profit, whether king crabs, or sockeye salmon, or whatever, it's all getting smaller in size.

Humorous but true.

Phallophobia here. I'll come back after this topic ends:ROFLMAO:

Coondick:ROFLMAO: Does he have a sister @SubGirl 🤣 I got to know her name...

Either I'm really baked or I'm still immature cause I can't stop laughing. I saw a humpback bone dick once and Bull dick walking sticks but that is as close to dick as I've ever been🤣

Sorry about all the emojis but I'm still can't stop laughing
