Sorry to hear about having to put down your dog, Putembk! My dog are older now, a couple are 14+ but thankfully they are still feeling good for their age. Dogs teach us a lot about life. They are like family. Take care, not an easy part of life, parting ways with loved ones.

I wanted to sleep in today. Starting to feel like hibernating. Always get up around 5:45-6:15 AM. Screw falling back for daylight savings. The sun is the clock I go by.

Time for a smoke and another cup of coffee before a hike. Warm one today, going to be upper 20's F!

Oh me too and we donate to both the State and the County police. My cousin is a State Trooper.

It's all in good fun. We live in the country. The Sheriff is a kid from the farm down the road. Our families have been neighbors for close to 75 years.

I do however enjoy giving them a little ribbing every now and again lol

I am so very sorry to hear about your dog. The toughest of times.

Dogs do not live long enough, the time they are with us greatly out weighs the terrible anguish we experience when they leave us, but it sure doesn't feel like it when it happens. I'm so very sorry for your loss.
