I got shot in the face with a .380 from about 10’ feet away , bullet went through a single pane of glass before striking me in the nose

the slug ended up behind my left eyeball , right up against the optic nerve and close to an artery

after a 3 1/2 hour surgery , the doc was able to remove the slug and I still had 29-20

that was 25 years ago and I guess I still have pretty good vision , I use 1.25 reading glasses but that’s it

it’s awesome that your vision is so good , remarkable!..
Wow!

I too use 1.25x

but never got pewed in the face before! Are you still pals with the shooter??
That's the prettiest cock I've ever seen!

never found the shooter , but I know who it is and he got popped on another charge and did 15 years

the cops couldn’t match the slug with his guns on my case

I am very lucky to be alive

over 120 stitches inside my nose to rebuild it

plastic surgeon did a good job

my cock doesn’t need any plastic surgery

I think I missed 60 pages since I have been on here 😳 I am getting a Calcium CT done today(occasional chest pains + borderline cholesterol numbers). Insurance doesn’t cover the scan. The admin told me it would be more out-of-pocket for me if it was covered. Knowing that a hospital can charge $20 for an aspirin or a bandaid, I figured I would get hit with a $500+ out-of-pocket charge. Nope. $108. That sounds oddly affordable since I can’t go to the grocery store for basics and spend less than $150.
sure you read it right?

There is a residential monstrosity called Dale City just outside Washington, DC. Every fargin one of the thousands of houses were wired with ALUMINUM wires. <-- TINS.

I was at a guy's house, and he asked me to put my hand on the plug cover. It was hot! Turns out, aluminum and copper do not expand and contract the same when carrying current. So every time a switch was thrown or an outlet used, it would expand from heat... and NOT contract.

1. Copper would not expand as much, and it would return to its original shape.
2. The multi-billion dollar deal/outfit was connected with DC insiders. So they used aluminum wires and saved a ton
3. They made over TWO MILLION houses with aluminum wires (now banned)

There were lawsuits going on when I left in '72.

Thassa real redhead. I see the Five Signs.
First getting into the trades and only used alum for services
Pigtailed a lot as little as 5 years ago cutting boxes above receptacle's for copper spliced back down int a new recpt.
We used to pigtail now special crimps or little small connectors ( little screw in)
The last house I did was a house on a slab all aluminum and a attic.
With the multi tool we wired the house completely in copper.
Big feeders are a lot of times aluminum with no trouble.

I am ALWAYS revolted when seeing some adorable female who has had her skin permanently furgled up with ink.

What every girl should consider -- [Unca Rant ON]

Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos? And tattoos increase malignant lymphoma cancer by 20% <-- TINS, inkies.

Tattoos are forever. They get ickyugly. No, they cannot be removed. They CAN be replaced -- with scars.

------------------------------------------------PAUSE------------------------------------------------

Sitrep: Sitting here, getting harsher by the minute. Dinged up shoulder is killing me. Not happy.

Aaaannnnnd, I just realized: I got up a tad before 3AM (usual). BUT I DID NOT TOKE! Been up 5 hours after taking my last hit around 4PM yesterday. Just now got done with Unca's Patented Smoke-Free Smoke Technique, and as I am typing (and correcting mis-types like crazy) that wonderful feeling that starts at the back of one's neck and flows upward and around your head... the indescribable lightness. Soft.

My Terminator shoulder mechanism still hurts. But now I am out of fucks to give about it. Meh.

Like we useta say: There it is.

And that is why I am so indebted to @Boo and @SubGirl and @bigsur51 -- Quality of life.

They caused pain to flee from this ancient and grossly-misused bod.

Unca you do understand that when eaten cannabis (delta-9-THC) is transformed into the much stronger and far longer lasting metabolite (11-hydroxy-THC).

For extracting maximum use from a given volume of the herb eaten is the winner hands down. What doesn't even make a good single toke will hammer you silly when eaten.

Generally, 11-hydroxy-THC is 5x as strong and 10x longer lasting. Boost that with some lecithin enhancement (liposomal encapsulation) and you double those numbers. What lasts for 45 minutes when smoked lasts all day eaten with fraction of the material used.

Decarboxylate first. pea sized nuggets of weed on a pie tin in the oven uncovered 240 F for 40 minutes.

1 gram decarbed weed dust. (Flour fine)
1 teaspoon Coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon Fearn liquid lecithin
Heat 220 F for 20 minutes.
Done.

1 gram of average weed as edible = 97mg of THC. = 10 doses.
Most states limit single dose to 10mg. With the lecithin I'd start at half that. Work up slowly to find your personal sweet spot. Stuff hits in about 45 minutes and can last 6,12 hours or longer depending on how it hits you. Micro dosing in the 2mg and lower will ease the aches and pains but not stone you senseless.

This makes an unstrained paste that can be a bit hard to get down straight up. Tuck in some PeanutButter or anchovy paste will help.

I make this when we travel by procuring local goods and whipping it up in the hotel room with a pat of butter from the breakfast buffet, tin foil and the bread toaster. You can shorten both steps when working with such tiny amounts to a quarter as long.

Order online.

I did get one person to ask me how to undo it as it lasted way to long and he was still tripping the next day and now he had 5 grams of the stuff.

Has the PT helped your leg pain any ???
Surprisingly ….yes. Contemplating not getting the steroid shot in my back. If I can live with doing the exercises and no back pain, it’s a simple choice of the lesser of two evils.

I just have to make myself do the exercises at home. Hard to make time and easy to forget.
