Good Morning Folks !
Love the pictures very nostalgiquewe grew up with no plumbing and an outhouse
my dad would back the tractor up to the back porch and use a special belt to hook up the old washing machine
5 of us boys slept in one room with a coal stove and a bucket in the winter cause it was to dam cold in Utah in the winter to walk out to the outhouse
i was 6 years old when we moved to California and finally had indoor plumbing

Hiya can we be old in the mind and young at heart, is that acceptable… and for the moment my farts smell gingerly due to consumption of freshly made ginger beerMorning O'f Farts. You don't have to be old to post here but there will be a teat on the 60's later.
Oh yeah? We were so poor, on Thanksgiving, my mother would send me next door to borrow the turkey for a half-hour.Meh! I walked 5 miles to school.... uphill both ways. We were so poor my dad was kicking a can down the street one day.....l asked him what he was doing and he said MOVING!
Hiya friend,Gotta take my beloved Witch to get a spinal shot this moanin'. She has terrible pains in her legs, and Scooter told her what the problem is: Sciatic nerve.
There are stretches that sorta relieve the worst of it, but he wrote out a two-page list of stuff for the other doctors to have, and they agreed, and are gonna give her a coupla spinal shots and do a CAT scan to see if she has a cat inside. (It is very handy to have free house visits alla way from Oregon by a Board Certified doctor...)
Right now, if she drops sumpin' onna floor, I gotta pick it up. That ain't hard, but she always tries to pick up things... and winds up with real owies.
Very kind of you. You are correct in how to take care of her; I do not let her take stuff out of the oven, or carry anything heavier than her pockybook. Although all the stuff she has in that rucksack would stagger a 20-mule train.Hiya friend,
Don’t want to intrude but I have herniated discs L3-4 and siatica…please do not let her carry things, lifts, less than 1kg
You have to master the arts of massaging if you haven’t yet…also if you need any exercises or flexiblity movements and decompressions do let me know….would love to help…also one thing to consider is diet some foods warm you up like ginger and others like yogurt have a cooling affect, pay attention to that as well
Hope I could have been of a micron help
