are you into charting , candlesticks , P&F?…

I try and keep an eye on the 50 and 200 day moving averages

dyodd
Whatcha all oughta be watchin' is not the history (however up to the minute, candlesticks still history) of something like copper, but the things that will move it in the future.

It is a case of "this time it's different". Because it is. The game board has some new places to land:

1. BRICS <-- Growing like ivy on steroids

2. National Debt <-- We all know it is now uncontrollable and unstoppable

3. Gold Standard <-- Double-edged sword: Ft. Knox audit? Gold holding illegal?

The sum of those three USD-killing items bring focus to the meaning of those charts: They are charts measured against other current currencies. So the failing, woefully-in-debt US dollar isn't as bad -- in their minds -- as their own country's currency. Wow.

Sounds like a deck chair on the very ass end of the Titanic: Granted, it is the best seat in that particular house.
A gazillion-jillion US dollars for a cup of coffee. <-- It has happened. In your lifetime on several continents. It is most ricky-tick gonna happen here.

Stick with bitcoin and PM's <-- Junk silver and NON-numismatic gold coins. Mebbe some copper pennies.

Yep! I'm in a high growth area in central Texas. Bought acreage for 4,950/ac. in 2004, sold off some last year for 21,600/ac,, cash deal. Like all small communities developers have come in to get a piece of the action and ruined the charm and ambience here including subdivisions of tiny houses.

5 year bond at 11% ???? What is it please? This is from etrade just now. Only stock that WAS getting that kind of dividend (and more) was PVL, a Permian basin oil play.

I don't own any digital or stock.
All my wealth is in land,tooling,animals........shit I need and use on a regular basis.
I keep minimum in the bank and any I don't know what to do with I invest in my sons.
Been told my whole life I don't understand money by people who are in credit debt and own nada outright........I own my shit not the bank.
Gawd, I luv it when you talk dirty. I coulda typed the above. No debt of any kind. In my case, it helped to be as lucky as Luciano.

Good day OF...only a few days left before the weather takes a downturn.
Laundry is on the go, coffee tastes good and I'm surrounded by OF...life is good.
Yep it's that time again supposed to be 51° here Sunday.
Weds it starts to rain, then the temp is to drop and see our first snow "event" is what they call it round these parts.
Haven't heard how much but ice fishing don't sound to be too far away.

Are you looking for capital preservation or wealth buildng? I, we, are old. I am looking to keep what I have and keep up with inflation to the best extent possible. Buying dividiend stocks, with the risk to the downside of the stock itself, is not a wise gamle at an elderly age. The biggest market in the worlkd is in bonds. Safe money is better then no money! Sleep well at night. I have real estate & US dollars invested. If you can pay your bills don't fret about anything else. Life's short.

same here but I figured after all the shit I've done to my body how much can this hurt me...curiosity got the best of me...gonna do a toke or two directly...
Most likely it's some variation on THC-A which when heated converts to Delta 9 THC. There are so many places doing some form of THC-A or another because it's technically more legal and therefore more distributable sine the THC that is illegal is the Delta-9 THC. I've noticed at my local shops a lot of the THC-A products end up being rated in those really high percentages like that. The whole THC-A angle is getting push so much that I had one salesperson at the shop I usually go to tell me that all versions of weed are rated in THC-A now. Technically though, weed sold as THC-A weed is usually in reality Hemp with less then .3% naturally occuring THC. The rest meing THC-A. If the 70 something percent is accurate then it should be pretty decent to your head. Back in the day Blueberry used to be thought of as one of the most potent strains and at that point in time it usually measured out as 18% THC, not sure if that's the same these days or if it's gotten more potent thru breeding?

I’m waiting on my lasagna to cool down a bit to cut it. Well I didn’t put itialian sausage on the list when boo mentioned it the other day but I do have homemade meat sauce with zuchinni onions peppers shrooms and tomatoes that looked good when I was putting it together. Also the market didn’t have my Favorite fresh mozzarella today so I went with another brand. Gotta make some bread to go with it but I think it will be edible 😁

We are debt free and do own stock in 401K's but don't depend on them for our lively hood. We've done extremely well on some stocks and so-so on others, but our hands down best investment was residential real estate.

I note that commercial real estate is in trouble as we speak, but residential remains in high demand. It also provides a nice income to go along with my corporate retirement and our SS.

No arguments here, there’s a couple of nights I could really have done without, but I live in the fast lane and there’s not much I can do about it at this point… I have lived a very exciting life and I can’t tell you what I’ve done in the past has infected what I’m feeling now… It could be a lot worse, cause I’m still mobile…
The way I figure it when someone makes it to your age or Unca's age it really doesn't mmatter if your lifestyle left you in good shape or bad shape because whatever shape you're in if you make it to your age and are still active, you're doing a lot better then the majority of the elderly people still around.

we have been in a digital economy for a long time now , hardly anyone uses cash anymore anyway so why not cryptocurrency?

and the dollar is backed by what , thin air?..

the feds just keep printing it and printing it , out of nothing , now there is a Ponzi scheme

the plunge protection team will not let the dollar crash , they will ease it down until it’s toast and replace the dollar with digital FedCoins

but make no mistake about it , the dollar will crash , it is a when and not an if scenario

the best hedge against the inevitable collapse is holding physical gold and silver…
It should also be noted that Ponzi was not Italian but Lithuanian ,I think..🙄

we are looking at a propane Genrac

in the meantime , we will use a Honda whisper quiet gas generator and a wood stove , that would be up in Washington
I have 1 and installed around 7 generacs and I think they are a good thing .
I also installed gas generators portables as well as 4 and 8 cylinder Wincos for a co i did work for.
The best generator I owned was the one we used to rough houses in the hamptons a 3kw 1800 rpm slow speed that chugged along and didnt scream all day.
I use the Shoutz Metacloom method of sizing generators
