This is my first post in the OFC, ive been enjoying reading about GN's travels in SE asia. Very cool stuff. He's living the life. I hope I can emulate some of his travels one day.

I dealt with DB's zero effort posts glorifying his adolescent lifestyle for years in the NFL thread. Then I got sick of his trolling and let him have an earful. Anyone who calls him out on it or his lifestyle he'll call gay and obsessed with him. Because that's what adolescents do, or at least what they did when DB was an adolescent 30 FUCKING YEARS AGO.
Nowadays i dont think adolescents try to neg other people by calling them gay.

If you had the courage and intelligence that God gave to even the weakest of His children, you'd kill him too. Because a man in his 40s acting like a child is not only wrong but it's incredibly sad. Root soup. Potatoes carrots onion turnip shrooms corn green onions bacon cream butter. I think that’s all except a little spice.

Roasting a chicken, and cooking a pot of potatoes, carrots and celery in the chicken drippings. Collard greens, and I’m going to cheat and use some frozen biscuits to round it out.

Please don't, don't encourage DB's addiction to food (or nicotine or cannabis) or the infantilization of his life. His mom treats him like he's 44 going on 14, we should be better than that. Unless he's actually mentally challenged or has some genetic/physical disability along those lines, but it doesn't look like that's the case. He's just an idiot who loves to be babied by those who should be his peers. He's a troll and nothing more. Admonish him to stop with the troll posts about the crap he eats, the long walks he supposedly goes on yet never loses weight, and waking and baking every day for the past however many years. Admonish him to be better than he is or else he'll never change.

If you actually want the best for him, tell him to grow the fuck up and get his act together. Then maybe he'll actually get some real life friends, maybe even a girlfriend, maybe reconnect with his estranged daughter. Then he'll find happiness/satisfaction in life instead of chasing it at the bottom of his hash pipe or in a container of fried food.

I miss cooking - so while on this trip - away from home - I'm having to eat very different food from restaurants and shops - oftentimes I've never heard of nor tried the food item - here's a few pics of the odd food products in a Thai supermarket -

Evening folks! K is shopping...saw an armed robbery, but she was high so...Yes, it WAS an armed robbery as evidenced by all the cops and k9's. I'm up from my nap, beer cracked, joint lit, and all's right in my world. I just turned off the timer for the ribs in the oven.

Yeah, none of that looks like food to me…

40 years or more ago - when I first visited Thailand - it was mostly fresh outdoor markets - with fresh locally produced products in stock - now it's rows and rows of mass produced processed food in shiny hyper-colourful packages packing out the shelves in mini-malls and supermarkets all over the place - a huge amount of choice is avaliable I suppose - but I doubt if its all as healthy as cooking from scratch - which I prefer to do myself -

What makes it even more difficult Boo - is that the ingredients list is always in Thai language - which I can't read - and rarely in English - so I usually end up with a mango and a bottle of coconut water - when visiting such establishments -
