Here is a link to Graywolfslair dry sieve article, as well as one on how to make dry sieves and frames, along with resources for screening material.

I used parchment paper and a rolling pin to compress the keif from the 96 mesh run. It yielded a nice little disc of hash. Pretty potent stuff. I smoked a ball a bit bigger than a BB and was baked for a couple hours. My press mold is coming today. I may not use heat after seeing what just pressure will do. I may just try cranking it in the vise and trying to tighten the vise tighter every hour give it take…

I bet when your neighbor talks to her friends she says stuff like, "OMG, I have just the coolest neighbor! He's always helping me to grow and harvest the best weed"
She has very few friends. It is sad. She is pretty abrasive. Her interactions with other human beings boils down to people doing work on her house, the people who manage her money, her doctors and my wife and I. I disagree on most topics but she is my neighbor and another human being. We all deserve to have friends and, topical views aside, we are friends.

When we made some hand pressed hash we used the edge of the wood stove for heat. Turned it dark and compact. Tasted imported.

You can have some fun with what you have there.
I used a rolling pin and parchment paper and the resulting disc was very close to what I knew as hash back in the late 70’s and early 80’s. The fruity aroma of the Heri-Berry strain is the main component that is different but that is a good thing.

If you have enough pressure, no heat is needed.

Here is an article on making Cannabuttons using a hydraulic press. You can even grind trim in a coffee grinder and make hard buttons out of it with just pressure.

The first picture is a Cannabutton from trim and the second one showing the die components is a hash puck.

The die is made from a 1" NPT cap and nipple and the ram is made from a hardened dowel cut in two.
