Here is a link to Graywolfslair dry sieve article, as well as one on how to make dry sieves and frames, along with resources for screening material.

Thanks. I have read those before. Your processing tutorials are always chock full of great info.

Snow and cold here. Gonna start some seeds today. Gotta check my stash and decide which ones. Also, up-pot and feed the ladies. I guess that means an inside kind of day.
Sounds like a plan, seed selection. What to do when a person has so many seeds to choose from. I also just bought 26 seeds and was given 25 other seeds as freebies. Plus I have seeds going back well over a decade.

Time to get the peat pucks out.

I have too many choices and some seeds are getting old, was thinking of downsizing.

Kevin really is a big boy, have seen bigger cats but they were chunky and overweight. My biggest cat weighed in at about 18lbs. Kevin is a handsome fellow. Wow, if he liked to sit on your lap that would be considerable weight.

I made some dry ice keif this morning with the popcorn buds and trimmings. I will keep the leftovers for making butter after I chop Manute Bol. I will make some keif with that plant too. The terps on her are really beautiful.

I tried a 96 mesh screen but didn’t get much so I put that stuff in a container and moved up to the 120 mesh screen. Much better yield. Did 3 runs that are separate. The 3rd just went into my joint rolling container. I will be compressing it all when my pollen press mold comes. My plan is to use my workbench vise and my heat gun to try to make it more like hash. Oh my, that looks so wonderful to me right now. Been a long time since I've been able to enjoy some nice pure kief :good:

It’s too late if you consider all the damage we’ve done to the wildlife in this world, the Earth will never recover until humans are long gone
Yeah if I remember correctly, when they talk about mass extinction in connection with man, we are now at a point where the numbers of species that have gone extinct, now exceeds by a fair magin the number of species still around.

99% of lifeforms that had been on this planet has gone extinct. Man had nothing to do with their extinction. Lifeforms will go on long after we are gone. That is the way it is.

I am going to scrape out the goodness in the bowl once all the plants are spun(after the above mentioned Manute Bol plant). I am hoping the plastic dough cutter I have will work for that. If not, I may get a bottle of Everclear and rinse it with that to make tincture. Tomorrow, my neighbor wants to make keif with her trimmings. I hope the dry ice is still there tomorrow.
I bet when your neighbor talks to her friends she says stuff like, "OMG, I have just the coolest neighbor! He's always helping me to grow and harvest the best weed"

Wow, I feel sorry for birds, they are getting killed in so many ways. Highways death number in the hundreds of millions annually and skyscrapers are responsible for many deaths. One story I read over 1000 migrating birds died from one Chicago building alone in one day. Like most life in this world everything has a job, what happens when they are not there to do their jobs. What part of nature gets disrupted. Poor birds.
I use to walk the highway here, one morning I seen a dead Magpie on the road, about an hour later when I returned the whole family of young Magpies was dead on the road.
It's too bad we couldn't do a better job of protecting them. They have work to do.

That's different and an even more startling number. My comment was based just on the period of time where modern man has existed. Much of it driven by the large number of humans alive creating an ever growing demand for developing real estate where in the process we are destroying the natural habbitats. Many of them aren't even really noticed as they are variants of other similar specices. For example there are so many typs of ants that virtually nobody but maybe an entomologist would notice if a particular species of ant was suddenly missing.

When we made some hand pressed hash we used the edge of the wood stove for heat. Turned it dark and compact. Tasted imported.

You can have some fun with what you have there.

It's all i run are short tents Oldman, I pull
2-3 ozs dry off them per plant also, pending on what strain it is.
I run 600w air cooled hps's.
I have no problem it's as simple as getting your back adjusted a few cracks a few there, wolla.
I normally throw 7 to 8 in per tent

I had Blueberry Blast of Snows produce 18z of dry bud I side in a 5 gallon.
When done it was tied to the floor joists from up above. It grew around the light.
Dam thing kept turning yellow so I'd give some nitro and just went haywire.
This plant here was not grown in a tent, just surprising to pull that kinda weight out of a 5 gal.

Don't fool yourself those small tents can produce alot.
Yep, yield is partly strain depended. I never keep track of my yield, it's all for personal consumption. I usually keep an eye on things by how many canning jars get filled. I use a passive system, so no hot halides. I've been using LED for a while this is my 2nd set of LED and these ones are getting old and will likely be their last grow.
Here is one side of my 3x3 tent from this past spring.
