Oh deary dear... while looking for a picture in my homogenized filing non-system I stumbled on an old bit of Solipsism philosophy I wrote for a magazine a long time ago.

It is two-minute short, but might get you thinkin'...

– What If –

© Walt C. Snedeker

What if this world is only in your mind... You touch and feel and hear, but it is all only in your immediate range.

Each leaf you look at on a tree is there because you are looking at it. Your “identitime” is unknown to you, but it is in effect. You remain living while your identitime ticks down.

When your world-time is over, what if you rejoin the Whole to add your infinitesimal bit to the Whole – much like a bee with its dusting of pollen.

And then you are again suddenly self-aware, with your very first memory as a small child clearly in your mind... in a world you can touch and feel and hear.

You have gone through this [death][non-existence] cycle several times in your own mind-world. Where were you when you were administered a total anesthetic for that operation?

You ceased to exist, didn't you. To you, time passage was essentially instantaneous. You blinked, and many hours on your world had passed in an instant.

It was easy to accept, since you know the reason for the lack of your existing during that event. Acceptance of that nonexistence also is a lighted signpost showing the next logical quantum step:

Your time between your created worlds is, to you, instantaneous.

What if:

There were uncountable examples of you and others all existing in your own thought-worlds?

With all adding their infinitesimal experiences to the Whole?

I love the snow. I grew up with it getting it once or twice a season usually. Getting out of school and playing in the snow was awesome. I moved away for 35 years to South Georgia and only got to play in the snow when I made a short trip up for christmas when it happened to snow. It doesn’t snow at Christmas very often here tho. My first year back and we got a nice snow and I felt like a kid again playing in it.
a rare and quick glimpse of SubGirl and her cool snowman. Maybe we will get snow again this year and I can play again…

I moved from Illinois to MN mainly for the snow, fishing and a bit more desirable climate

Break from trimming. Chimara is larfy pot. Pain to trim. I will get through it though.

Daughter and SIL are driving back from Nebraska today. Not the best driving conditions. Road closures all around. From what I can tell the roads for them are still open but the wind is going for it.
As long as the roads are open I am not worried. SIL is experienced in winter driving. Plus he has a 4wd. I haven't heard from them in a couple of hours.....

I would text or call but there isn't any signal where they are at.

Haven't heard a thing yet. Coming back from Scotts Bluff. In the mean time I have been busy.

That looks nice and if it came from the same cut as mine, I was super happy with the buzz although my yield was less than 2 oz in my bad tent. Would like another opportunity to grow this one on better condition. That bud it trimmed way better than mine too but I did have that nice white on mine too. Did you get a better yield this time than last? Didn’t you do something different? Mine was like a chain vine…
