the organic or chem/synthetic nutrients

I use big bud all the time. I never had weed taste like hay.
I read if not cured properly, the weed can taste like hay.

Hello, I just recently grew 2 M.K Ultra plants, fed one with GH Flora Nova line and the other with Pure Blend Pro line. After smoking both I can say that i notcie better taste and smell from the one fed with PBP. :joint: The plant fed with Pure Blend has been curing for only 2 1/2 weeks and still tastes better than the chem fed plants which have been curing for 3 1/2 weeks. The PB plants were flowered for 11 weeks and the chem for 10, this may also play a role. Now this is true most likely due to the fact that this was my first time using chem nutrients and I most definalty over did it. Pure blend seems to be a lot more forgiving.

Just my personal experience.

I will continue to use both flora nova and pure blend in a side-by-side manner but plan on using much less chem and possibly implementing sweet. :chin:

good thinkin fellas

good thinkin fellas

ill try that! brain did my new soil ratios look better? you guys have been awesome helping me through this. outside growing has just been so easy and at this point i think i can say that nothing beats the sun as far as light goes man......i also read something about uv lamps yesterday and was wondering some opinions on them. the guy made a pretty good case for them just in his end bud comparison. i think what im gonna do is grow 75% of my crop with organics and 25% with the big bud and organics... Also when growing perpetual harvests is it easier to grow one strain at a time do you think?
now that i'm thinking about it, it does seem a bit easier to do the atomic n.l. the clone mom i kept of that finishes in 50 - 52 days, the mazar takes 63 - 65
and the choc chunk takes 58 - 60 days. i plan on using grow bags for soil, the 2 gallon ones. i figure i can cram these into the grow area with less wasted room on the floor. i will have a 5 x 6 or 30 sq. ft and 1400 watts now the choc. chunk has NO SIDEBRANCHING , the mazar has pretty extensive lower branching<which will get trimmed before flowering> so i will only be growing "the crown" of that plant and the atomic n.l. grows very limited sidebranching and the branches are so productive it would lower my yield to take them off.

clones all from the same mother is easiest... makes for a much more uniform grow, and they all share the same genes, and will flower all at the same rate.

clones from the same mother..

clones from the same mother..

yes i have 5 mothers and i intend to grow a certain number of each out at a time...at any given time i will have 2 diff. strains under the lamp i will start by only using half the space available then after 30 days or whatever half of the time to flower is. i will put another strain under to get a perpetual harvest going so i can harvest once a month, instead of once eveery 2 months. under 1400 watts of light i should be able to pull 1 pound a month <or close to it with the choc. chunk> so i figure it once i have the first two crops under i will always only have to add another every 30 days to keep up the harvest......am i thinking this through correctly or did i dream up something that cant be done?

actually i have 7 mothers i have 3 purple choc. chunk, 2 green choc. chunk, 1 atomic n.l., and 1 mazar<although i planted the other 5 seeds i had in reserve of the mazar so i may end up with another. also i have 3 males all are mazar. i want to keeo them alive so i can actually breed for specific traits because while mazar is my favorite to grow of the three it has so many variations when planted i could see how some people may not get a good pheno from a pack of seeds. so i want to upgrade it for myself and produce my own seeds.....but that is a little ways down the road i have to get the indoor growing down first...
