wish I could rent camp spots out in my pastures, I'm sure my county would have a problem with that. Daughter works at the local hospital and she says all hands on deck that week of the Eclipse, no time off given. They are saying that our population along it's path will double at least. Much worse in areas with services, and short distances from I-5. I could squeeze some serious camp spots out of these 13 acres. I'm betting people will camp right on the side of the road. Have all you need before that week and stay home if you can. Be safe and good luck to you all.

It was more about harvesting on the full moon. Thanks for having me have to respond to clear that up.

Ah, well there is that. I can adjust my light dep to start at any time, but... I am not working strains this year that I have grown before, so I am not sure I can time it so precise as to harvest on the full moon.

A horse walks into a bar, and the bartender looks at him and says, "Why the long face?" :rtfo:

From a former Mormon missionary point of view, that will not likely scare them away!

My one brother being married to a Mormon Temple Walker at one time, says he answered the door last time brandishig a Smith and Wesson .357 magnum. They have not been back. Brandishing is legal in Oregon. Not in CA or WA though. He opted for the here and now marriage, and not the eternal one. They are long since divorced. We are related to Bring'em Young and the 'Elder Goulds' (1st cousins, several generations removed). That seems to keep them wanting to pester the family.

I was looking through my photos from the last two years and I had male flowers open on or before July 25 last year and July 29 the year before. Things are gonna have to happen real fast if my first male is going to be in that range this year. I have a good amount of preflowers showing, most only barely large enough to identify the gender though. I definitely started everything on the late side this spring, so that might have something to do with it.

This is an old post, but I just caught what you were talking about I think.
Did you use to work down at the benches or the older spot where they put that fountain in just south of the Burnside bridge?

Brutal heat in the forecast for 2nd half of next week.
Anyone do anything special for their plants when the temperatures start to crack triple digits?

That is close to the norm around here. I added a bunch of perlite to my mix this year....I have to water every single day without exception....even waiting 30 hours is too long.

Upcoming OHA Rulemaking
The medical program underwent a great many changes this year, especially allowing medical growers to sell up to 20 pounds per year into the OLCC system. However, before this can happen, the OHA needs to also write rules in coordination with the OLCC about how this happens exactly.

Further, all pot sold into the OLCC system must be tracked in METRC from seed to sale, so even OHA growers can't sell current product to the OLCC system.

We'll also keep folks posted on this rule making process as it continues as well, and tracking the extent to which this policy change may impact our members.

OLCC Commissioner Appointments
SB 1057 included a provision where the OLCC will add two new commissioner seats (one from 'East Oregon', and one from 'West Oregon'). That means that there are three open seats on the commission, counting Patridge's vacancy.
