Ive read 17 pages of this thread, and used the search function as well.I can't find the answer to my question...What about re-using the substrate in Hempy Buckets?..Can you do this? ..Can you flush it out and re-use it like soil? If so how many times before you need to replace it? ...thanks!!
Nice set up SOG. Now you got a bigger tent you gonna grow in bigger buckets?
High man, i'm using coco and i'm pretty sure it's reusable, maybe not perpetually, but definitely for a few runs.Ive read 17 pages of this thread, and used the search function as well.I can't find the answer to my question...What about re-using the substrate in Hempy Buckets?..Can you do this? ..Can you flush it out and re-use it like soil? ...Though I don't post many pictures, I can tell you that I've grown a few monsters with this method....
My bucket's medium is 3:1 perl/verm. I've been using the same stuff for almost a year. I re-use and "top up" as need be. I don't rinse. After harvest, just get the rootball and shake off the excess in a rubble sack and re-use. Simple.
During the last two weeks of 12/12 I flush with just ph'd water, so this is probably why I don't feel the need to rinse, but you can rinse if you wanna.
