The ruling has to do with attempts to disrupt cali laws. The feds can still enforce federal laws though.

I don't know what to say.

There is no way in the world I could vote for Mccain.

I don't trust the democrats to do much better, but at least they are not the American Nazi Party like I view the GOP.

Long term, I don't think it is going to matter. The genie has left the bottle for the government. they just don't realize it yet.

I don't have a huge problem with selfish rich fucks getting busted taking advantage
of sick fuckers like myself.

But i do pray that sometime in Obama land, that Bush and his derranged thorizine pushing fucks get all their money taken away for being shitfaces.

Especialy "CIA" assets (ya know, the ones driving your dope around for you) and not even dropping a roach for the poor fucks who "thought" they could use something
other than tobacco and datura all the time (same area of brain and that gets boring, like living off of a muscaria).

I do pray that we have drug laws that make sense, not only about cannabis.
If we can't solve all we can't have any, probably why they all think they are elite or something (which makes me not against being invaded by china or some country) oddly that is not pleasent either.

Enjoy the reefer "patients" they don't seem to have much respect for the mentally dead in my state (rymes with hell).

Hey guys, here's a link from cannabisnews.com, can't really find anything regarding the DEA, but what I get from Brown's guidelines is that some of the dispensaries might be in the trouble with the state the way they are doing things now...this is a couple days old but :joint:

http://cannabisnews.com/news/24/thread24128.shtml

However, WAMM in Santa Cruz got the go-ahead with their suit against the federal government which might break some new ground...let's hope so...

http://cannabisnews.com/news/24/thread24124.shtml

On topic: I think Obama could bring some necessary change to our drug laws, but not unless the Dems are able to pick up a greater majority (2/3?) in the House and Senate...and there's a ton of big "if's" there. We're gettin' closer, keep on fightin'!

WOW.

I doubt McCain would say the same.

BUT, I want to hear it from the HORSES (Obama himself) mouth before I punch my card.

I heard it from Obama's mouth himself. It's on YouTube.

the thing that bothers me with Obamas statment was that they did not mention what their policy would be.... just saying it wont be Bush's policy...
that could be anything...

He is trying to get elected, he is not going to say anything pro weed, it would be fucking stupid to talk about it. Stopping the raids, nationwide in med states, is the first step, let us take one step, but first, weed is for voters! Are you registered to vote?, No? Sorry, weed is for voters. You want a hit on the bong? Are you a voter? Yes? Then bong salute to you!

Well the doctor said you must take one of these diseases.

It's either a COLD, or AIDS.

Yeah they both are inconvenient and potentially painful and at times down right unbearable.

But their longterm implications and consequences are much much different.

We all agree the system is a mess but wake up and understand the true stakes here.

voting is pretty much a waste of time if you ask me.

either way mccain is going to win. deal with it.
:fsu:
I vote because I want to do my part to ensure that I don't have to deal with it. I saw the youtube piece as well. Obama very intelligently and eloquently said "let's stop the chicken shit." He's the guy we need in office--no question.

thanks for the link PB, i sent you a pm in response mentioning that it looked like a 9th circuit court of appeals in CA which we know doesnt hold too much ground in the fed arena, but as i read further into it it mentioned it was a US federal court, how its worded makes me wonder what this judgment really means:

"that the U.S. Constitution permits states to determine for themselves what is legal and what is illegal under state law, and that the federal government may not deliberately undermine this process."

We all know state laws have conflicted with federal laws in many areas, the us supreme court even said that was a common occurrence a few years ago . wonder why this defense hasn't been used more frequently especially for highly charged issues like gay marriage and labor laws.

oof too early in the morning for this fine of reading, be back soon!
