What does S.C.R.O.G stand for?

High UN! Can you explain the use and/or application of the screen(chicken wire). Whts the overall purpose or philosophy of its use. Is it some thing i would want to try? Or since I have plenty of room, should I just let them grow? Peace, and looks great! TBug

tbug the chickenwire is placed so i have complete control over the canopy. the more even the tops are, the more budsights will be exposed to full light.....thus increasing yield.

you may want to try it depending on your space. it's a hassle to prune once the screen is on there, but the screen really helps the yield. personally i think the screen is more suited for smaller applications like my closet. i wouldn't want to fool around with a huge screen as it takes lots of time training the branches about the screen and spacing everything evenly.

the trim job on the finished buds is absolutely fantastic...any special technique you use? -or do you attribute it more to the gentics or slow drying etc...?

naw not really, just spin the bud around and clip leaves. those were the head nugs though so i definintely paid more attention to detail there.

ScrOG

it's really designed for ScrOG - Screen of Green for Micro Growers - of course it can be utilized in any application really but its a lot of work. If your familiar with SOG - ScrOG is the same idea except you use the screen to allow you to train the buds to grow 1 in each hole to even up the lighting and rather than a whole bunch of single budded plants - you can just use a few. Here's an excellent example:

the strain is the catalyst for all those crystals buddy! no other strain i've seen has been able to match the resin production in the same environment, or in any environment for that matter.

i wonder what would happen if i supplemented some u.v. lighting in there.........

more stoned thoughts......i will ultimately be pollenating a female of this strain with a male from a large-yielding family. any ideas anybody???

.....the c-25 v-scrog is DEAD @ day 42.

i was checking up on things last night and while analyzing my spider mite population, i noticed they were starting to cob up a few spots, just starting........FUCK.......

there were way too many mites on there so i did what any slacker/gardener would do. i chopped 'em all.......rather than lose a few buds to the webs, i chose to lose none.

i will tell you that all the buds were nice and very sticky like they should be, some buds had mostly white hairs, the majority of them had a mix (more red than white), and quite a few looked done to the naked eye. i haven't checked anything with the scope yet because i can't find a fucking battery......

i've been getting high as shit off what i've been clipping the past week so it's not a total loss

i'm fucking bummed but there's nothin i can do about it........except a nice slow dry and cure

oh well, now i'll have smoke to hold me out until the closet is ready for some axe-work. and a nice selection to boot, 4 bagseed strains i'm gonna cure 'em all mixed up, it'll be like a grab bag of nugs.
