Very nice~!! Did you use any veg ferts on those or did the soil mix suffice until flower time? What nutes did you use for flower?

Howdy Closet Grower I just checked over your 3X8 Thread. Am I on drugs or did you forget to mention the plants. What kind/how many? Looking forward to the pics. Sounds like we have the same climate. I sure feel the heat from the 600 more than the 400 in July/Aug around here. Good now though, I have a bit more space than you, 9X5ft.

I prob didnt say what plants, it was more of a setup design question
but ya im running 18 - 2 gallon pots with OG kush, Green crack, and i got sour bubble on way
i re measured my space, its 6.5 feet long 3 feet deep... my 2x 600w fits just perfect.
@RobMarley - That flange I see in the bottom right. Is there a piece of wood on the other side for the screws to go into to keep flush? I like how yours is set up.

Hi folks here's a couple of pics at the end of F28. I'm really happy so far, one AKSt and the BB look like they'll be ready in a couple/three wks and the rest are still looking brand new. I ordered some new seeds "Ultra Sonja" and will be adding them next Sunday (if they arrive!!!), I'm gonna put one in vonforne's "beer cup challenge".

The last pic is the SgSt I have bent under light one. This plant looks just like its Sage and Sour mom, I assume it will go longest but will only know when its hanging. (my guess F70-77)

You may like the prices at HTG, but if your in this for the long haul I've found my girls don't like mail order gear,if a ballast goes belly-up, they will want it replaced today!!! not packaged and mailed off to wherever, then sit in the dark wondering if the're gonna hermie, waiting for HTG to mail them back a ballast, been there done that. If you can drive to HTG I'd go for it, I run 2, dual 600 lumatecs, 4 lights, plants love them.
Yeah I figured I'd get the mail order gear to start out and then add a mag ballast as backup. That way I will always have light if the electronics shit the bed.
HTG *claims* that the electronic ballasts are UL listed, I think I'll trust the mag ballast better. *shrug*
I work with switching power supplies a lot and I do know certain modes where if the drive transformers are driven out of a linear (stable) area in the magnetics in certain setups, they WILL blow the drive transistors. Un-kosher.
