Anything you aren't interested in is boring.
Besides, I'm not discussing religion, only its affect on western society, and I'm not really discussing that either, this is more of a hit and run affair.

all of the "reality" tv shows are based on the same premise. You're "friends" with someone while it suits you but when it gets down to the nitty .... thats when it gets dirty
I guess its cool if you can just cut people and move on but we it doesnt work like that in real time
I think the word is consequence. There is no understanding of consequence or complete disregard for it and consequence from something you do or don't do now can affect you negatively at any time in the future.
For some reason young people are brought up with the impression there is no consequences to their actions. Their behaviour is then totally self focused. Why wouldn't it be? no consequence to me.
Another symptom of that is that they cannot see into their future. They don't or can't imagine ahead in their minds and they seem not to plan because of it....directionless... so many younguns dont see a future that they can see themselves in
in light of that its easy to be selfish. if you want an example homer J is the greatest narcissist of them all
