I have finally begun my long-planned deep dive into the Mexican genetics I've been accumulating for the last few years. I decided to start with Original Delicatessen's Primera Dama, and popped 4 seeds for a mini pheno-hunt a few months ago. I recently harvested #1 after 10 weeks of flowering (at a 13/11 dark/light cycle, which I do for all my plants). Apologies for not having pictures, but I expect to start posting more as I work through the rest of these plants and get to know them better.

I impatiently smoked some flower before it was fully dried, and therefore long before it was cured, and I have to say that my hopes remain high. My goal with the Mexican strains I've acquired has always been to find an archetypical mellow Mexican "hippie weed" to add to my permanent stable. I know there has been speculation that Primera Dama was at least somewhat adulterated with BLD genetics at some point, but I wouldn't have known that from smoking this cut. It was exactly what I wanted it to be. Gradual come-up to a very, VERY chill, mellow high, including a body-buzz that is nothing like the classic "Indica" effect - rather a lightness in the body, as opposed to the heaviness we all know as couchlock. At first I wasn't sure if it was heady, but I realized upon reflection that it certainly was, it just wasn't spacey or daydreamy, but rather so incredibly clear and clean. Not super potent, but potency was low on my wishlist for this hunt. This is simple, happy weed. It just epitomizes what I think of as Kind. Here's hoping it retains these qualities after a full cure.

I look forward to trying the other 3 plants once we've got through flower, and will try to post my impressions here.

growing boel oaxacan now..we’ll see

mind me asking where to find these?

I've read Swami organic seed has got it in his stock but doesn't sell the "pure" form, he's got crosses made from it... he did get Cherry bomb from BOEL...

I have been pointed to Criptic labs in the past.
