Interesting rolandomota, it Made me remember the old tokes when you can get a good amounth of mota for cheap prices .
Willydread amigo, i think that most of the folks do not know that the "mexican" delicatessen seeds (first mother i think) its pure méxican ibl but not
Many years ago i used to talk with spanish guy called "el socio" he was a very close to Mario Bellandi the "breeder" of delicatessen seeds he even upload a seeds of the pure Robert Clarke mexican seeds, many times i told him to share but never happened so i saved the original photo from that mexican from that mexican line.

Do you have any other info on the first lady? I've grown a few out and enjoy them, but would love to know some other details, like original location they came from, in what year, or what sort of selection criteria was used to preserve it all these years. There's precious little info on it out there. Fun line that is surprisingly fast flowering, with less stretch than one would expect from a pure sativa.

Cheers!

I'd love to know more about First Lady as well. I have 12 on the way, just shipped. Planning to make this the first Mex I pop, so anything I can learn is welcome!

Unfortunately there are very few info about PD, some have hypothesized that it was early Pearl, (But pd does not seem very early) certainly it is very inbred so I think I did a good thing by crossing it with oaxaca (also because being feminized I could not do otherwise) ...
Beautiful photo of the seeds, small and dark, reminded me of the mexican sativa seeds I bought from sensiseeds twenty years ago ....
Any info is always appreciated, amigo! :)

What I have heard in Spain (whether it is true or not), is that First Lady (aka here Primera Dama; Original Delicatessen) would be the same Mexican plant (or whatever) used by Sensi Seeds to obtain Mexican Sativa (by mixing it with a "Dutch Durban" and a Pakistani) and Early Pearl (by mixing it with Early Girl)...

Salud.

Hola Montuno, gracias! Also I have read that PD could be pollyana, a mexican ancestor of early Pearl, and they actually look alike, we'll see how it will be in the end ....

I have had to give up some of those seeds for lack of time and space (a life is too short for all those great strains), but I have seen that they give birth to fantastic plants ....
Considering how experienced you are, which of the three do you like best?

Seeds founds in 2 different ounces in 2014. Until a couple of years ago there were still sativas not too much hybridized, with a delicious effect (I don't know about the flavor, they arrive in very bad condition). usually i dont save seeds, but these two bags caught my attention (effect). One batch of seeds is dark, the other one is almost black, the flash makes them lighter.

Hi hola compadre, well for me by far i'm keep with 12 fingers cross all day! With 12 fingers You can get the chance of grow pure old mexican as can be
The s1 of the old canadian clon of the oaxaca 79 its good but a little bit weird: dense buds, and covered with Crystals but i free it and for me was pretty mexican to me. The cross with other Oaxacan line was nice but honestly i haven't so much experience with it because id sent almost all the seeds to Charlie García / Kaiki because he was looking to offer a good Oaxacan line .

Do you mean the Seeds i've offered you? :)

The ones i've offered you are different to the ones elchischas made.

My favorite Plant from the Oaxaca'79S1x Oaxacan Pure/12Fingers elchischas made (got them from RC_Colas). This Plant sadly never started flowering under 12/12, but she was the most vigorous Plant i ever grew, 3 or 4 Days for a Clone to root through a RW Cube (just plain water).

Thanks bro !
I bought the ounces in my area, southeast of Mexico. Before there were good genetics, not very hybridized. I imagine they are Oaxacan but it is just my opinion. They were very dark seeds, they came in very sativa-looking flowers, they did not remind me of the northern ones.

Hi bro
If you are at the south of México your seeds must be pure,as you said Oaxacan type, i think the same
That kind of black seeds are common and the south,i didn't know if its just one extended common line or many between related. Before the "Honduras" seeds was released for sale to the public, Charlie García offer me some to try the seeds was totally black as a many others seeds that I found before at the south part of the country.
