Chasing the Present
I haven't talked with Kushyman for months I ask him about his Acápulco seeds the last time... I'm sure that he still got it. Recently I talked with good friend of mine who still got it three S1 seeds that i gave him many years ago,but i know who still got it ;) tell you on GMC. Its a Great tool to breed never ask to Kushy the origin of this one but is really good! Some people thinking that was hybridized but the time that i got it there's nothing about hybrid on it. My final opinión that was its a very selected cut, You can use on those amazing asian works will match perfectly.
I just chatted with him, we talk daily like he’s my grandpa or dad, not sure which :)….

I also just confirmed He’s got a different Mexican than the one called Oax79 that Charlie / Kaiki used, actually he’s got a few and I wanna say I’ve already got seeds of them all, that I’ll have to verify…

I’ve got a few plans with the 12 Fingers actually and have already made Cambodian x 12 fingers from 4 year old pollen, which is finally now fizzing out; I’ll likely pop some this indoors season coming up :)

12 fingers can grow really tall.

Great thread. I’m hoping some of the knowledge on here may help me decide what to grow next. Looking for Mexican/central or South American dominant or heritage at least “landrace”. A number of options, such as Punta Rojo, Ace Panama, destroyer, Escobar, one of the Acapulco golds floating around, purple satellite, an Oaxacan. Given these as choices, can anyone identify the types of high and strength of these? Giggling would be welcome as would energetic type of high. I usually prefer strong marihuana as my tolerance is high. Thanks...

I smoked some stuff in Zipolite that was like eating 30 liberty caps. Lasted an hour.

Uncontrollable laughing, deep purple and green lights appearing in the dark, starbursts, cheeks stuck to eyebrows.

Would love to know what it was. I presume some Mexican/Oaxacan red as looked like more like a thistle than weed.

A single skin would blast 4 people to space for an hour. Came from the surfers.

Maybe worth getting a few Mexican vars, crossing them and searching through the f2s for the freaks :woohoo:

This plant its from one of the strains that grows near Popocatépetl Vulcano.
It grows by itself after months of dry wheater and no water at all. My ex-wife harvested the seeds the past year and some fall into the pots . She told me about another plant months ago that just grow by itself and now again another tough plant arise from the nothing …for real this variety is a real evil weed

We can certainly split hairs about what is a landrace vs an heirloom, but in general I think "landrace" implies a wilder outdoor line that hasn't been worked too much aside from the reproduction and maybe removal of some intersex individuals.

If that is what you are after, ACE Honduras is a great option, as it has within it expressions that range from Mexican to Colombian. The seeds sold are a P2, I believe, so that's only one generation removed from source. Its not strong per se, but definitely with giggly/energetic effects. New Caledonia is a good choice, too. Higher potency, and with American sativa influences. ACE Panama is inbred (F11-F12?) and adapted to indoor, and while it's a great sativa and is plenty strong, it is hardly a landrace.

Good luck with your search!

It is widely accepted that by landrace we explicitly mean a domesticated cultivar and not jungli/wild/ruderalis.

All landraces are domesticates and all ruderal/wild cannabis are not domesticates.

From The Real Seed Company - https://www.instagram.com/p/BrWcXUxhaSc/

At the wilder end, cannabis develops adaptive characteristics such as small leaves with narrow leaflets etc. In the Himalaya, there's a continuum between domesticated and ruderal varieties (in the strict botanical sense of variety), as in the Small taxonomy: Cannabis sativa ssp. indica var. indica at one extreme and C. sativa ssp. indica var. kafiristanica at the other. No ultimate division exists between the two, as illustrated by how easily domesticated characteristics can be developed in ruderal populations when under artificial selection. This all relates to the difficulty of finding true wild cannabis. Eurasian populations that have not been subject to domestication or affected by it at some point over the millennia are likely impossible to find.
