Thanks Big Bag. Maybe ill try them out. Got the seeds from some "z bud" from a dispensary in Burnaby. The bud was decent, but didnt have much of a smell...I threw some pics up last year somewhere on this site.

Has anyone tried the "bc hash plant" strain from bc bud depot? How potent , odors, yields, and phenotypes?? If anyone has any photos of finished product or plants growing, would be sweet to see. Thanks
BCBD primarily caters to newbies, and it's common for them to send out crappy beans, often not even close to what their supposed to be...Anyone in BC that I know who's grown BCBD stuff, lives to regret it...fakes abound. too bad because their new "Night Nurse" ( BC Hashplant x Reeferman's Harmony( Fire OG x Lemon Thai x Santa Marta Gold ) x Fire OG ) sounds really too good

They sent me their hashplant instead of another strain of theirs that I ordered. It's total garbage. Low yield slow in veg low potency. I couldn't recomend it even to my worst enemy. Their sweet god was really nice tho. Purps was ok. Not very potent and the smell didn't transfer into the taste. "The Big" was ok. Butterscotch smell/flavor, decent potency.

I just watched that on youtube. Interesting stuff about extracting the fem pollen using a pollinator.. who'd a thought.
What are your thoughts on using non-chemical means to create fem seeds for commercial purposes? I've heard through the grapevine that a breeder named Escobar uses some kind of root trim method to alter the ethylene levels. Is this something you're familiar with?
Anyways, good to see you dropped in. I've been meaning to grow out a few of your strains, LP#1, Pink Kush.. and hear nothing but great reviews. Also I see you posted about getting the real Forum Cut from Cali. Well if this is true I would love to get my hands on it. Will you be dispensing cuts along with the meds at your new location? Getting this cut would surely make up for the time, money and energy wasted on my admittedly bunk GSC from BCBD. The last think I want is more seeds of that GSC, but would love to grow out the real deal.

Thanks for the nice comments I agree I really don't want to grow GSC but I have obligations to produce genetics under agreement , I don't really like a number of strains that I grow and breed with however one mans holy grail is another man's rejects .
Cannabis is subjective to the person and his or her likes or conditions or the most recent fashion .
Back on topic my newest generation of Hash plant ! Much more potent than Lizard distantly related to Z like 8 generations and several outcrosses !

Sorry The Root trim idea is stress induced hermaphrodites , the only way that you are not going to produce hermie prone seeds is ethylene inhibition , as I explained in the lecture in Holland that inhibiting ethylene is not stressing its inhibiting the plant from utilizing the Ethylene it produces , this inhibition makes the plant express characteristics of a male plant because the primary differential between the sexes is ethylene production .
I hate to promise things I might not follow through with , however I am talking with my Lawyer / friend / PR guy about starting a youtube Channel where I would really like to walk everyone through the differences between stress induced hermaphrodites and ethylene inhibition , when STS is correctly applied you will not see 1 female pistol on the reversed plant it will be like the he tightest male cluster's you have ever seen .

So does anyone still have the ol biker hash plant in lower mainland area? My friend used to get it from the Sunshine Coast back in 96 -98... He said he's pretty sure it was biker hp x with big bud. Said there used to be football sized buds... Lime green barely any hairs and reeked like dank skunk

Shiiiit, I was getting that HP in Ontario in like 2003-2006, It was super fire. It had a super strong smell like ecsd NYC or OGK from LA. Straight skunk funk for real.

F**k Kush, never did like the commercial kush at all, I have been a day one skunk fan, NL 5 x Haze, Super Skunk etc etc......
It is so funny you can tell rookies and people who know nothing of cannabis because they only know kush...
On a side note, I hate master kush and I also love a good HP, so if I was sold some master and told it was HP I would know right away.
Anyone else think Bubba Kush is str8 trash? some ass showed my buddy some bubba the other day and said it was larry, I also love a good larry so I knew right away it was bubba. Arughhhh I hate people who fuk around.

I would say it is the buyer and the growers fult for the kush craze. I think some of the kush when grown right produces and it is decent, so that makes it good for growers, and the masses of people dont really give a shit, they just want something named kush, "does it smell decent? does it get me high? I will take it." that is the attitude of the avg buyer.
I bet of the commercial growers started to step up the strain game for real, then you would see the pallet of the market evolve.
This enplanes why us old school smokers have such a broad pallet and novice newbies only know kush.
Man this cat who used to supply my area in the late 90's early 2000's would go to the damm, buy a shit ton of seeds and run through them all, when they found keepers they would mass produce them, we would get all the tester bags and man we had some fireeeeeeeeeeeee in them bags, and nothing would resemble anything else.
Now you can barely tell strains apart, they all look or smell similar.
I bet of the commercial growers started to step up the strain game for real, then you would see the pallet of the market evolve.
