I put together this Outback Haze Identification guide with the help, collaboration and pictures shared by Dwight Diotte and @HEMPY.

While the smoke test is the only true qualifier this should help differentiate the morphological traits of each parent. NH21, Hempy's Tia and NH36 ✌️🙏

Very useful guide, thanks!
I have a few crosses from OJD with the NH21, NH36 and Hempy's Thia, and this is quite helpful identifying traits.

Bro you try so hard to prove Dwight as legit , but he been caught out lying many times , lied about making all seedbank work with Nevil , after I called it out he changed it friends with Nevil since seedbank days.

You and hempy never even grown or smoked the Outback Haze so Dwight the caught out liar only opinion really

and also lied to many breeders and sent them Outback x NL claiming was pure Outback , they all announced online they had Pure Outback Haze seeds ,until again I called it out online , then dwight went Outback and retracted his statement again online, along with you and every other person he sent Outback x NL to , trust is lost , or at best needs to be looked at very carefully.

Stop trying to hype dwight and il stop calling out Dwight and this bullshit , ask Dwight if he prefers to get it all out in the open , and we can carry this on ?.
once i mentioned this online to dwight on open post at the other website we were all on and see, he never replied or posted ever again , and just does LinkedIn ? , pretty suspicious no

Again Truth Hurts doesnt it

I'm happy you found it helpful Maria,

Dwight is a wonderful human being and warm and welcoming to all. It's clear Nevil had a true friend in him and shared everything 2 friends could share.

The rest like OJD, you and myself and others are limited to the interest in the plant and what we learn from forums. His death hit Dwight and both families pretty hard. Adding insult to injury there was a lot stolen and wrong doing to capitalize on his name.

I can relate. When my Grandma passed away it was similar. It left a deep wound for those that were not involved and harmed the healing and grieving process immensely. In the end those who capitalized came out with everything they wanted at the expense of those they harmed and nothing changed that.

In any event. Nevil sent sizable and numerous combinations of Outback and the other projects. Nevil shared his insights which likely guided Dwights selection processes. They spoke up until he passed away on many things.

OJD did received the 2 outback seed through another source and they are legitimate. I think you will find great things and it looks like you are enjoying the process as well!

Sometimes it gets de-railed, but I will try to keep a content based thread going with pictures and information from Dwight.

Here is a picture Dwight shared of Nevil collecting seed from an early expedition. It's wild to think about the balls it would take to run an international seed business at that time, but also the gifted breeding skills!

You should be able to find something you like in OJD's. Nevil believed that Diesel came from a haze type within his work. Nevil also believed it possible to select ghosts and breed backwards. This cross would be one worth considering I'm the context of Nevil's experience and theories.✌️🙏

I have read this words from Nevil and I was lucky enough to understand pretty quick what he meant and be lucky with the 18 seeds I got in my hand to work with.

"But here is the secret for finding the Throwbacks in Haze crosses : After 2 crosses with the same father I switched father and I used a male from the s4 seeds (S denoting an inbreed selection and of subsequent generation seed),
this had as a results to bring back some diversity but alot of vigor, increased resin production and weight.
Is like traveling back in time and be able bring back the original champions to your garden and select from."

You My tribe! 😄

Nevil seemed to exercise great discretion in what he conveyed publicly for good reason. Still he left many clues for those with the passion and drive to discover for themselves.

Since the first time I tried diesel/chem I could tell it came from the very hazy 5haze type found in the original work. Like 5haze had an affair with an earthy acrid Afghani dwarf. Everyone seem to think I was speaking nonsense because it didn't aline with the 5haze they knew.

Then Dwight posted a quote from Nevil conveying exactly that.

Using Blue Dream x kush OG as an example. It just is what it is too everyone, but if you smoked SCBD for years? No one is going to convince you that it's not in there.

Similarly it will never be cleaned up or restored by anyone unless they had the parents and a willingness to do a lot of work with good fortune and luck on their side.

When the cut was lost I immediately started growing out anything Nevil's or claims to it thinking it would be easy. I was completely naive and spent 12 years hunting and chasing bs stories.

Then around 2012 I gave up deciding the only way to find it would be to make it. Those breeding exercises were so humbling. The realization that you can't just take two great things and make something better lol.

It took another 8 years until I started having breakthroughs with the individual components. The guiding theories of ghost hunting, outliers and breeding backwards were inspired by Nevil.

That along with encouragement and knowledge from others driven by passionate and curiosity gave a lot of shortcuts to answering questions with actions. Enjoying the journey itself.

I had no idea how much hate, greed and covetous went along with forum land at that time lol. Especially haze. For me and many others haze is a spiritual medicine, but it's human nature to corrupt good things I suppose.

Anyway. The last 5 years have been used to exercise and build upon Nevil's theories on this. Until a person actually tests and develops the techniques and observes all of the holistic system dynamics over multiple generations in house it can't be understood.

Fully building parental lines over years and growing them out is the only to advance understanding. And have the theories we are talking about materialize into substance. The only way. If it can all be written I wouldn't know how. It's the interdisciplinary convergence of art and science.

Anyway. Keep going and don't listen to nay Sayers. 95% of the time they have no experience on this of their own or are limited by the experiences they do have. Nevil's theories about this absolutely have merit.

I love learning from those with the same interests ✌️🙏

Selecting the outliers within Fgen has a very similar response in my trials as selecting completely different equatorial lines. Equatorial F1 qualities, but without leaving the line work itself.

Outback Silk #11 just starting at about 6w. Outback #8 / NH21 phenotype.
