:wave:oh I really appreciate your comment, I understand that you have something to do with some of these genetics (in my particular case also thanks to Dubi and KarmaG)

I finally see for myself how sativas are better after a longer cure.
why is this?
I seems like everything else after the first month after the dry, then it starts to lose it's smell and taste as time goes by.
but my sativas I've grown start to taste worse that first month and start getting better after a month.

What exactly is going on? I do remember hearing Sam say in a podcast that he didn't like a certain class of terpenes that made the bud harsh at first.
So those type of terpenes aren't in indies or hybrids?

Another question. Has there been terpene testing done on a fresh live haze plant and testing on the same plant after harvest at different stages of dry/cure?
Any links to something like that or similar?
Thanks so much! As if I don't have enough going on, my brain took this tangent.

I love my haze hybrids MUCH better now than I did when it was first dry. Ive heard this ever since I first started to research growing. It's in many if the books. I just first noticed this for myself a couple months ago when I tried Malawi x Panama after it sat on the shelf for a couple months. But I really see a difference in (my personal preference) taste in the haze hybrids I made.

UP POTTED.. There is a 2nd seedling up, I have 2 now. I'll soak more, unfortunately, I didn't get that many seeds. I was being cautious not to use a lot of Pollen. I don't have much left. I cant make more of this particular pollen batch. Ill have to hunt another male.

I want to see this one flowering outdoors to see differences with the indoor grown bud.
No mold at all so far, this one might be dangerous. Growing in a room with a few white flies, a few spider mites and a few natural predators of those bugs, so not a perfect indoor environment

Here are some of Chimera's Incense Haze x "Jack", which may or may not be a herer line if I can recall correctly, coming from a dude named Jacques? Incense Haze is from bagseed from NY block haze if I am correct..The other children of that line that I've tested out have been very hazey and incensy (not frankincense though) and I've been very happy..
If Jack is Herer, then this would be NLhaze x SkunkHaze x NLHaze...I think..

These Jack crosses are the frostiest of them this early so far, plants are between week 3 and 4..Check out the leaf buds on the girl on the first pic! That girl wants to party! The stem rubs on these are very hazey and LOUD..Louder than the Simply irresistables that were VERY hazey hybrids and super tasty and nice to smoke and pretty damn loud..Rubbing the stem of a male of a modern hybrid and a male of these is night and day..I think these were 4 or 5 females can't remember.

These hybrids root super easy … I took the cuts outdoors at the end of the season when they were in full flower now they’re going to process of re-vegging:flowers2:

That looks great!

Finally A5s1 heading toward the end. Looks alot like that c5 a5. How is it going internode and stretch wise? A5 is pretty short maybe 50% stretch not much. Solid golf ball nuggets starting to shine. Sort of pencil eraser smell. Only Haze that looks like its gonna make it. One timer stopped flipping off that took its toll for 3 days then the replacement forgot to set to auto so another 2-3 days with issues spread out about 1 week. That sucks. Was hoping for more haze but some would be better than none.

Looking pretty hazey/thai

They aren't perfectly grown obviously, soil was a bit N rich... I wasn't expecting them to lean this haze haha
