Day 34 here and the C5/Mango x Mango are still going. The #2 in the front on the left is budding up and showing some nice frost but the #4 in the back is still going crazy and barely even throwing pistils yet. My early thoughts are that the #2 is going to be a 13-14 week plant and the #4 is going to be 15+.
I have raised the light as much as I can so I have resorted to bending necks again this morning.
The C5/Mango x C5/Mango is my early favorite so far. She looks like a 12 week plant and is showing great frost and I see nice colas in my near future.
That first black line on the tent is about 6 feet.
sativa phenotype of Grandfunk. it reminds me long flowering phenotype of mango haze. earthy carroty incense with hint of caramel and mangoes. but no haze C or NL5. just good ole Toms haze and thai hybrid inside.
Mex haze x o. Haze/skunk#1
the two short phenos
The second one is turning purple(calyxes) and smells
like sweet figs it’s uncanny. Unfortunately it throws bananas( not many but sigh) it pollinated the first pheno with Just a few seeds. It was the only mex haze to give any bananas
Tomorrow is 6 weeks in on the C5/Mango testers and I have a dilemma on my hands.
The C5/Mango x Mango on back left is out of control, . 6 weeks in and not starting to flower yet and still growing over an inch a day. She is 7 feet tall now and starting to take over. She is looking like she will go about 20 weeks if I had to guess.
I cannot raise the lights any more and she is so close she is not going to like the intensity. I am giving thought to chopping her out so that the other 3 plants can do their thing unimpeded.
The C5/Mango x C5/Mango on the right with the GMO is my favorite of them so far. Looking exactly like what I'm looking for so far.
what an unruly girl bmac ,
i thought the flowering would be similar to the c5 mango on her ,
makes me wonder if a laos mango seed hasnt snuck into that fat mango pile ,
that would make sense to me at least ,
i gave some to a mate who needs them to be early also , so i might have to have a yarn with him about them after watching yours ,
maybe give him those ones later in the year for his longer season crop that will handle the possibility of a plant like that ,
unless of course its just the odd one and my mate dropped a few laos mango seed in there accidently ,
to be honest after working with him for over 6 months now , that wouldnt suprise me at all ,
the partnership i have going with him wont last much longer , i just need enough seeds for a few outdoor crops, shorter and longer flowering types, and i think ill call it a day ...
Either scenario sounds plausible. I'm sure its in the genes somewhere and just an odd plant was my guess. I'd be curious to see her through but its just not going to be feasible in my set up. She is truly a magnificent beast though, lol.
yea i think you going to need a bigger tent for those sorts of girls bmac ,
but i agree they are quite fun , as long as one has an idea of what to expect ....
just bend them over..be ruthless haha I find those sativas dont care being bent this way and that and heal and pick themselves up horizontal again..not optimal but it works..
