Any updates boss? I'm curious how they're looking currently.
Well - we have had some very windy weather - and it knocked over 4 of the plants - 3 seem to be recovering fairly well (one got its stem bent 90 degrees - and is growing an 'elbow' around its skinny stem )

- and it looks like the 5th plant is a real slow-starter - but although kinda small - is growing -

Gypsy if you cut the bottoms out of your manure cups you get better growth rates. They don't dissolve as fast as the plants grow and the retain water causing hidden environmental conditions.

They tend to root bind before the cup gives way to deterioration. They are top of the line for germination then whack the bottoms before you place in soil.
Peace brother 🙏 farmerlion

That makes sense farmerlion - having not used these allegedly dissolving cups before - I will dig them up - and 'whack the bottoms' off them - ohh sounds rather cheeky - lol

Gypsy the manure cups were a fantastic idea with one simple little flaw that's easy to fix.
Have a fantastic day my friend!

If roots started to come out of them better not to dig them, so maybe do it careful.
Yes - after thinking about this all day on and off - and checking the fibre pots - it looks to me like they are already in a state of deterioration - and fall apart like wet cardboard when I try to pull them about - so what I think I will do is pull down the sides of the cups - and top-off the big pots that the cups are in with 2 inches or so of some fresh compost and topsoil - so that the new undisturbed roots can fan out into it - if they can't get thru the bottom of the little fibre cups - (which I reckon that they can do ) - then the roots have a place to go - to access the rest of the big pots -

- Doing it this way will prevent alot of stress to the plants - if I were to dig them up and 'whack off the bottoms' - of the fibre cups - before replanting them in the bigger pots -

Been a while - nearly a month since I last posted - and the original 5 Amnesia Kush auto's - are now just 3 - since the two smaller slower germinating plants took a hammering from some heavy thunderstorms - and then were mostly eaten by some slugs - that found their way onto the plants - via the soil from under the apple tree - I should have been more aware - and sorted them out earlier - but alas - was preoccupied with other matters - so its just the three of them left now - up on my balcony -

- As you can see - I have found an organic remedy - to discourage the slugdom - from feeding on my plants anymore - surrounding their stems with garlic powder and eggshells - and they are just about starting to flower - which is nice -
