If it's cold and wet for a long time blow me off otherwise let the sun do its job

Had a fire today because of EGS build crew...yup...a fire. Almost lost some shit but it got put out in time. Probably a tenth of an acre burnt

Does rain wash off trichs'? Because its an oil, I think it would repel the water.
My plants are extremely covered in trichomes and we have had nothing but heavy rains all year. More trichomes than my indoor plants had.
Nothing beats outdoor plants! My Strawberry Dogshit pheno is very special. It leans towards the SC side hard in growth structure and in bud structure. It has a strong smell of strawberries and a strong taste of strawberry in the inhale with a strong taste of Lime on the exhale. Indoor it had major crystals, but outdoor its just amazing how covered the flowers and sugar trim are despite the rains.

You better bill them for that shit. I'd kick them of your property right now.

My trimmer out house and 3000 dollar composting toilet got burnt up. Cal fire came out and did a report , sheriff was here and asked how I get my plants so big , EGS teams hasn't been on site since Friday 11 am , fire started from coals they disposed of on Thursday at noon. If I had known they were using briquettes on my property I would have put and end to it immediately. I'm hoping that they give me a free install. Or maybe a greenhouse

Good thing you got your numbers down.

Hey ODW

I'm of the same thought, but so new to this that I haven't experienced first hand. I've heard both, that it doesn't and it does, including just recently on this forum. I guess your testimony right there is leading towards debunking that one.

How are the diseases and pests with all that rain? I used to farm an acre of veggies on a farm that backed up onto a swamp. We dealt with it all; rain, humidity, heat, frost. Applied actinovate and Dipel religiously on a weekly basis. Our tomato plants grew about 50 pounds of marketable tomatoes each plant, being thinned and combating pm, leaf spot, fusarium, verticillium, loopers, stink bugs, leaf footed plant bugs, and hoppers their whole lives, all organically. That farm kept me busy..

The rain is definitely around this evening here, but havent felt much more than brief moments of small droplets in the garden and been hearing the thunder in the distance. I'll be praying to the ganja gods tonight, in hopes that it bypasses me and makes itself useful on that fire up the way.

That dogshit sounds fuego my friend. Keep up the overgrowth and best of luck to you.

Yeah it is what it is...No MAJOR property loss or damage to the garden or humans or animals so all in all I'm happy about that. I'm really pissed that we had a fire here today though. Really fucked up the order of my operations. Oh well.

PS Plastochron we missed you at the SFSC booth at the tarp awards !

We have some rain in the forecast. What do people do in preparation for wet weather? Must be near impossible to cover those big plants outdoors. Do you use blowers? During or after the rains? How much does water really wash off the trichomes? And how much rain before bud rot becomes a real concern?
We all know rain, dew, n no wind leads to budrot. I have a cage 30'x40' made out of 1/2" rebar, I use a rope n pully sytem to cover my plants, 12 box fans to move air, my girls have not got wet sence aug. 1st (except for feed n water) every one that smokes my crop says its far better then all the other stuff around. with this being my 48th crop(outdoor) it might have something to do with it.
I got pictures, there in my computer but I can't figure out how to post them

yea i know i was lame and bailed... my loss.

decided to take care of a couple things on the hill i've been putting off instead. also my folks up in those parts weren't too keen on putting up non-working guests for the weekend... think the haps earlier that week had em a lil on edge. long drive for an afternoon, albeit a scenic drive and a kickass afternoon. good thing the em cup is only a stone's throw away!

how did your entries fare?
