Beautiful but does the purple hurt with stealth? And is there adequate bud-leaf?

Also, was wondering if this was their Purple selection or if you happened upon a purple pheno in their normal Mandala 1.

Purple does not blend into this mountain autumn local growth, so I would say it does hurt in a stealth point of view.
The bud-leaf ratio was something I did not like at my Mandala. There were to many little leaves coming out of the buds and the buds were really small. I left some of the bud-leaves to cover the buds while curing...just to make a small experiment about how this effects the whole curing process with difference in taste and smell. I will post the results in my topic (the link is in my signature).

This purple pheno came to me with exchange-ing some seeds of my own with a friend of mine. So this was the only female that came out of 3 exchanged seeds. Maybe I will try to get some golden and green Mandala#1 phenotype plants for 2014.

pono takes the cake 2013!!!

From what ive seen anyways, come on ya chickens
where did ya all go????????
Fuck the gypper fiasco, get back in here an show them harvests!!!!!!!

HUGE plants are 1 thing, but they still dont match sea of green tops......
pono's tops are lookin about right, better than Mendo 420's id say,the prob
with MOST big plants is,the cold sets in and they cant finish colas to their max...
just sayin...if your getting 12/15/24 inch colas on every branch, you've done well,
but little golf ball tops and theirs a problem then, usually to cold..

SO LETS SEE THE TOPS FOLKS???

Kind of agree with you OLDproLg. However, in my garden this year most plants produced large colas. However, there were about 25% that had the small nugs like you talked about. I feel that can be a phenotype variation as well.

Also, I don't think cold has as much to do with it as lack of intense sun light. I feel light dep buds come out better because the UV index during that time of year is way higher than in Oct.

Just my two cents at least.

I already posted up this picture earlier in the thread, but I haven't uploaded any new pictures yet because I have been busy trimming.
Those are 2x8 boards in the table, and a 55 gal top to my compost brewer for size reference.

Take a break from your work and ponder this:
Cover the line between the two squares with your finger.
This is how we often see the world.....it appears that there are big differences in front of us when it's just an illusion and things are the actually same.

Very good boy's!!!

Madjag, what were those plants in the cola shots
columbians???.....very full sativas!

Yes your right on the light intensity, when its cold, that changes the lights
power drastically.....slows poor plants down bad....daytime temp mainly.
Nights can get cold an it wont hinder bud growth!!!

Here it get cold at night in winters, but its always 75-85 in the daytime!
BOOOOOOOM,perfect for 6 months......

Great FROST on that last pic pono, that was 1 comfy outdoor plant man!!!

MORE PEOPLE,your all legal in cali,SO WHERE YA AT THEN???

Archive pics...LG
