No way in hell I'm waiting till mid June. Proper 18-6 in the greenhouse, plus supplemental lighting over all my main pots from May1st till May 20th or so...

Light spoofers: I am very interested to know what your plans are to stop the supplemental lighting. When? Will you just cut it or taper off?

I'm overrun with kids , I'm still trying to figure how im gonna get around them and pull off my biggest grow to date.....as for veg .....I'm gonna have to do it all indoors and then go
out sometime in june

anyone ever planted indica-ish clones in late may /early june and had them do the right thing........and not the funky flower/veg BS?

danimal7, for what it's worth our SWT #3 clones which are almost purely indica dom have been running at 16/8 indoors for the last 2 weeks after being cloned under 24/0 with no problems.. June 1st is our plant date and I'll have right around 16 hours in my area using the +/- 30 from sunrise/sunset numbers that many seem to use outdoors.. I also have no problems with less indica dom strains like Alpha DieselxSWT#3, Skunk #1, Orange CrushxWhite Rhino, LUIxF13, and some SOL Mountain Mix.. None of these are more than 50% sativa that I am aware of as I'm familiar with all of them indoors and they'll all finish in under 70, most of them more in the 60-65 day range, indoors at least. I also popped some C99 and a Critical MassxLUI cross to add in a little extra variety but they're not old enough to be show sex yet anyway..

Hope that helps.

Yea nomaad, I'm very interested to see how it performs myself.. The cross is being ran out indoors now and has another 5-6 weeks left so I'll have an idea of how long it will take to finish by the time the outdoor ones go out.. I forgot I also have some Sour DieselxNL going out as well that I've ran a bunch, and indoors, at least, it performs great. Those were some of the best sboo freebies I ever ran across and the longest running strain that I've continued to make seed from each harvest.. The AD that I made the cross with would probably run a little too long in it's pure form outdoors but I know these SWTs are always done in 60 so I'm hoping it brings down the finish time while bulking it up a bit at the same time.. The real goal was just to have as much variety considering we don't really know wtf we're doing outdoors and just doing our best to give them the most love and ideal conditions possible while we gain experience and learn lessons..
Around these parts killer bud isn't the norm so people can't choose to be snobs. Anything we've ever ran has always more than pleased those in need..

Nomaad, 63-65 indoors does the job.. I'm not exactly sure what that tranlsates to outdoors since I've never done it, but October 15 around here hjas average high/low of 70/48 with no frost even by the end of October.. so I guess it's just a matter of hoping for a dry October like everyone else I suppose... Somewhere down the road I'll be picking brains for ways to keep plants dry if cold rainy days come.. Even if it's a matter of putting tall stakes and tarps over them a few times in those situations to snag an extra week or two..

October 15 is when i'm just kind of ball-parking a finish date.. A friend of mine ran some small blubonic (3-4 zip each) cuts I gave him last year and he pulled them about october 8 succesfully.. So I'm thinking Oct 15 is reasonable..

Does anyone here know what that would roughly translate into in # of days indoors at 37.5 N Lat?

thanks much

I only used 400 gallons of potting mix, but the roots are welcome to go into the other million gallons of soil surrounding it. Im not too stingy with my plants.
Ok gonna go see Blue Oyster Cult play.

rather than doing what I did with those blue tents last year, I would make the rows uniform so that you can pull hoop houses over them with minimal hoopla.

i need to get some bluedream...!

picked up a few OGs instead, dreams are gonna be ready in a few weeks from a friend who's got 40 in a light depo currently. but in a month i'll be already out in the beds. i could track em down through a dispensary, but already got a full roster and clone room...and i really want to grow some OGK and KENS GDP i've got.. i'll run the dream next season :(

edit:NOMAAD, how many weeks does your bluedream flower? not the clueberry.

I took down the Blue Dream on Oct 24th. I did not run it in the balc box, so I don't know how many "days" it would finish in. Mid to late Oct. I am planting some Clueberry alongside my BD so that I have something coming down that is a little earlier. I have Butte's Blue Dream as well and it seems more like Clueberry. But its too small to really know. I will probably run Butte's in my late season black box replacement crop.

i just took cuts off my blue dream and your blue dream N. im gonna run at least one of each outside and side by side indoor .......i will start documenting all my projects in a thread with pictures soon.

next year, I am thinking about trying a single 600gallon in my GH with a single plant, vegging with supplemental light from late january and then running it full season. I can always just take the top off the Gh and let it grow thru the entire dome structure... that would be unreal.

:jump:Do this!

thanks nomaad.

were those 90mph winds and rain late september last season? all my plants got wrecked, had to pull em all almost, but i had no cage supports and bamboo, i know people that caged there plants "right" and they had no problems...

these termites are becoming quite the nuisance, dozens are flying out of my bed as i type, in search of new land. i hope the predatory nematodes work, still waiting for them to get here :/

Yep kannubis, Soft White UnderBelly. Man, I didnt think anybody remembered that name! Kudos Bro! I saw them first in 1976, then in the mid 90s, then today.
The 76 concert sticks in my mind. Me and my best buddy(God rest his soul)smoked a joint of Maui Wowi , These giant colored lazer Pyramids were tubling over the top of us. Everyone was smokin bud. It was my favorite light show ever.Maybe my favorite concert for effects alone!
See the short Guitar? There was a blueish white aura colored lazer mounted on the end of it. A big one! LOL. Hey Big Plants to You Brother, And many happy harvests!
