another Green crack
I had an awful preseason, Late start, PM from some store bought clones. (a first for me). I set up soaker hose to replace my spray heads and discovered I don't have nearly enough pressure, so I am waiting on my special order "rain barrel" (very low pressure) type soaker hose, which means of course I am currently hand watering (which sucks ass). I am just about done cleaning up the weeds (lots of star thistle this year). About time to start with the Hortonova.
Here is a pic of the "Big Farm" 2011... I'll post more soon... Plus, I'll take some pictures of the "Sunset Garden" this evening and give you a little glimpse into Blue Dream Blvd.
So stoked for you Fill ! Big respect ! ... Brother -- I love to see your trees! Did any Mental Floss from that 13LB mother make it in to the garden? Can't wait to see your different plots progress through the rest of the year.
so far so good. slower then normal but thats because we def had a late spring this year.
Ive been mixing up some mean teas in the 300gal mainly EWC, fish emulsion and guano with a touch of molasses. working well the plants love it.
Some of my other spots are really blowing up. I have a spot designated to just mango haze and all of them are over 6ft tall bushed out real nice. aks are all about 4ft.
again now after 2 years of growing in these 200gals ive found that by submerging the bottom 2-4 inches in water they grow 2x faster. the mango hazes in the bog are already bigger then me and were planted 7-10 days later then the ones in the greenhouse. wetland + smartpots = success
ill get some shots of the other gardens up soon. great work everyone keep it up!!
