Thai Chi

Thai Chi

Hi orangina,

After 3-4 months of curing Thai Chi harvest is at its best, her smoke enhances and makes brighter any experience. I'm sure you will miss her once she is gone ;)

The spicy and rounder medium sized flowers and slight purpling of your Bangi Congo x Panama comes from the Bangi Congo mother,
the hazy lemony terpens and the kind, dreamy and trippy psychoactivity comes from Panama. Thanks for the feedback :)

You are right about the Thai Chi for sure. I already regret that I did not keep the mom. However I still have a lot of stuff to grow, but she will soon find again a place in my little garden.

Thanks for the info on the Bangi Congo x Panama. I popped some Purple Zamal x Panama from R&D recently. Do you think they are relatively similar?
It will still take some time until I flower them though, but it would be helpful to have an approximate prediction how they might be in comparison.

Have a nice day and thanks again for your work...

Zamal Bliss

Zamal Bliss

Today is the day...finally I will have to share with you my thoughts and pics of Zamal Bliss.
She is quite easy to grow and a good yielder. She has a very nice sweet citric smell, reminding me of verbene tea but also some other features. It has definately also some tropical and floral smells when you squeeze it a bit...

The taste is quite similar to the smell yet it also has some woody tones to it when smoked, however, the fruity flavors are dominating. It is very tasty but somehow more innocent than the usual hybrids.

My friend, who has accompanied me during my last journeys with ACE's gear, and me met outside near a canal and each rolled a small joint.
We sat down near the water and smoked our joints talking about the "pure" or classic flavor. At some point we noticed how our talks ended up quite far from our point of departure. We both laughed and acknowledged that the buzz was rolling in. Time to have a little walk and see how the effect was developing.
The effect turned out to be quite a nice summer smoke. We were sooo talkative but also walkative. We strolled for two ours through the neighbourhood stopping at nice houses or whatever seemed to be an eye catcher. The whole time we were talking about youth or teenage times, not noticing the time passing by.

Some days ago my flatmate and his friend picked up an old tent from me. They are both from Latin America and although Zamal Bliss is far from being an central American sativa they were glad to smoke a proper sativa without the usual foggy blurryness of knowadays Amnesia and.

Zamal Bliss is potent but in a functional focussing and euphoric way. Too bad there are no festivals this summer. I would love to stroll around with this one, tasting the nice fruity citric/floral flavor and feel the electric buzz resonating with the music.

The first plant hermied a little at the end because of stress, but the clone didn't so I guess it was just due to the mineral ferts I was using before.

Thanks to you orangina for your pics and feedback on the different ACE strains you have grown!
I'm enjoying a lot reading your smoke reports in chapters :)

Lovely Honduras Breeze buds :yummy: It has the purple Honduras Central American sativa look with a bit more chunkiness from Nepal Jam. Your description of her effects matches very well with my experience with this strain too. A very balanced effect in all senses, not overpowering neither weak, pleasant, happy, floaty, not agitated or thought provoking in a bad way, warm thoughts and relaxing in the body but not sedative or heavy.

Glad you also have enjoyed with your Zamal Bliss and that you found it easy to grow.
It's a more active and uplifting sativa smoke, good for socializing and to enjoy outdoors and surroundings, enhancing perceptions, slightly trippy (but in comfortable way) so with good company is easy to have good laughts with friends :D The pure purple Zamal mother is very accelerated and somewhat edgy, but crossed with Nepal Jams gets the happy, pleasant and warm side. I also believe Zamal Bliss is perfect to enjoy live music and outdoors in summer days.

The Zamal mother in purple Zamal x Panama Goddess F1 is the same one than in Zamal Bliss. Crossed with Panama produces a much more potent, trippy and energetic effect than Zamal Bliss, better yielding too but longer flowering although it works very well indoors if you keep under control its size and height.

I think you and your Latin American friends are going to love Tikal ;)
What's the next chapter about ? Hope you are doing well and enjoying spring time!

Hey Dubi

thanks for stopping by and the kind words.:thank you:

I'm glad to hear about the energetic effects of the Purple Zamal. The Purple Zamal x Panama is still in veg, but I have two Purple Zamal x Bangi Haze in flower with the Green Haze x Bangi Haze, just since 10 days though.
A friend gave me a clone of Bangi Haze 6 years ago and I kept her for quite a while as she was a great sativa. Unfortunately I lost her due to spidermites, however, I knew we would meet again, somehow.

The Honduras Breeze is for now mainly waiting in the bag, curing and further developing her citric flowery flavor. The effects are quite complex. I sampled her only a few times, yet as time passes I taste from time to time. It's interesting because she gives me such a comfy feeling. It is not heavy but it puts a smile on your face and gives me a cozy warm belly feeling, really nice. Nevertheless I can also enjoy dancing with my girlfriend in the living room. Especially barefoot on the nice carpet. Somehow it seems like the cozyness makes the sensation of the carpet even nicer. Also nice weed for conversations and cooking.

I hope my friends will like Tikal, as I will harvest mine soon. Not sure I did her justice, but next days I put the clones into flowering. I also got the Tikal x Honduras, but haven't sprout them yet.

Not sure yet what will be next. I harvested some Bangi Congo x Kali China, Kali China, Nepalese Jam x Kali China. Let's see which I taste first.
I have not tasted the Bangi Congo x Kali China so far, but she seemed so beautiful that I wonder why she was discontinued. However, maybe the hybrids were just better.

15 days of flowering

15 days of flowering

Hello,

slowly the hairs are coming and the exciting part of the growing is not that dar anymore. Soon we will see the first buds forming.
However, I am pretty shocked by the enormous speed of growth. The last update is just 7 days ago but the difference is obvious.

Let's see how things progress, but NFT seems to be an amazing way to grow, but look for yourselves...

Here's the overview

Hello Dubi

Hello Dubi

Please, keep us updated with your latest canna adventures orangina  We miss you!

Yea jobwise my canna adventures were a bit on hold. Also I had to restart my grow. So things slowed down. In addition my SD cart died thus I cannot take pictures and a grow diary without pics is like a barbeque without meat I think.

I have a new grow going right now. It is on the same NFT system yet this time with other strains.

Currently I run two phenos of Haze xKaliChina and the GreenHazexBangieHaze #1 plus two phenos of Golden Tiger X Panama.
Due to the similar flowering time I thought the latter would would stretch as the hazes, but that was not the case. They stayed quite short. It will give enough weed to taste and getting an impression of the strain, yet I will veg it longer next time.

In the GreenHaze x Bangie Haze topic I wrote a review. I'm curious to hear your take on that.

Also tried the Zamal x Bangie Haze and found it really something. The alertness and electric feeling convinced me to keep the mother. The particular lemon herb flavor from the Zamal is a plus too.
Next year I will try the Zamal x Panama. Maybe she will replace her. Due to the Bangie Congo x Panama I think that Zamal x Panama would be an awsome cross.

Congo x Panama is one of my several favs of ACE. Unfortunately I lost the mother.
Among my favorites so far are Zamal Bliss, Honduras Breeze, Kali China, Thai Chi, Congo x Panama and Zamal x Bangie Haze (not necessarily in that order).

I grew as well the pure NepaleseJam and the KaliChina x Nepalese Jam. NJ is very nice especially the flowery character from the Nepalese I assume, yet I like it more in crosses. I still have the mother of the Zamaldelica x Nj from the last run I stopped.

Regarding KaliChina x NJ I found each of them better in other crosses.

Will get a new SD-cart next days or Santa will. In that case I will post some pics.

Wish you all the best and thanks for your work.

Next year I will continue my Haze-Quest:

Harvest HazexKC and grow some Killer A5, SMH and PNH if there is time also the purple pakistani haze. Then I should have one or two Aces up my haze deck.

Thanks for the feedback orangina ;) much appreciated! I think we have similar taste.

Both purple Zamal and Bangi Haze have very electric/energetic effects, glad you like the outcome of both crossed together.
If you like lemony terpene profiles and purple Zamal crosses like this one and Zamal Bliss, then purple Zamal x Panama Goddess would be the next natural choice to try.
Take a look at MountainKush' Zamal x Panama thread as reference.

Looking forward to know your opinion about Haze x Kali China and Golden Tiger x Panama you have recently harvested.
Best wishes with your upcoming hazy grow too! :)
