Clarification: The WEF cited or sponsored a study that showed that personal gardens often lead to higher carbon footprints.

That is what I was saying. So, not quite debunked this time.

A study is where it starts it ends with a coordinated global propaganda campaign (fear) and ultimately a ban and system of punishment.

'Vaccines' playbook.

Two completely unrelated factors. e.g. Can I love Hempy but reject his interpretation of some aspects of society and politics? I admit to a profound dislike of Trump, dating back way before he put his nose into politics. I can discern some flickers of light in some things he seemingly represents very seldomly scattered, like wanting medical for all. However, I dislike him and do not trust him because he lies.
:thank you:

^ I see these occasionally…very rarely. Coral Snake. Not to be toyed with. Mostly I deal with Blacktail Rattlesnakes. Pretty mellow snakes. Those are very common here.

I’ve never seen a Gila Monster. That’s something I’d like to see.

In all my years in the mountains I’ve never seen a Mountain Lion. Found plenty of their kills and prints but never seen one. I know they’ve seen me though.

Awesome! I've always wanted to encounter an Arizona Coral Snake or Gila Monster, or Blacktail for that matter. I've so far only seen dead blacktails on roadways, after arriving just moments too late in some cases.

Like you, I've still not seen a mountain lion, despite all the time I've spent in their habitat.

I lived in their territory. I blocked a route used by a cougar hunter guide. He asked me why. I told him that I did not agree with his way of making a living. Surprisingly, he said 'fair enough' and took the ten mile detour around. I heard a couple and saw one once in winter. They never once bothered our animals.

When I lived in California one was killing a neighbor’s goats. They ended up trapping it easily and killing it. Lions are not hunted in California. But yeah…lions are definitely livestock killers.

Here you can buy a lion tag over the counter. They’re hunted with hounds. Not an easy hunt. But without hounds your chances of bagging a lion is not all that good. Predator calls work I guess but other than that you’d have to be real lucky to see one. Even luckier to get a good shot.

I’m not a hunter. Don’t really think it’s ethical to run hounds on lions and bears…but it’s legal.

Compared to a good deal of the 20th century when all predators were trapped, hunted, and poisoned…basically exterminated for the good of the livestock industry….we’ve come a long ways in our conservation views. Back then and into the 1960’s the Federal Government financed and employed professional trappers/hunters to do the killing.

The Mexican Grey Wolf was reintroduced on the Gila back in the 90’s. Controversial even to this day. They were bred from captive populations…as there were none in the wild. Ranchers don’t like them. They do kill cattle.

No grizzly bear reintroduction though…last one was killed here in the 1930’s. All the elk we have are reintroduced. Starting back in the early 20th century Rocky Mountain Elk were brought in. The native Merriam’s Elk are extinct. Wiped out in the 19th century.

The world goes round
