I don't think so. There are no studies that show it improves ones health. A Dr hanging over your open would may be different as they really are only gob stoppers. That's why the wear them is surgery. And in ChYna they wear them because there is so much pollution particulate in the air. Conveniently now it's from Covid.

Precisely - gob stoppers, which is why they work to limit the spread of germs through exhaled breath.
