Sounds like someone misinterpreted what POTUS said. Pelosi probably should have called in the National Guard like POTUS recommended. I wonder why she did not? :chin:

What 'neverTrumpers' fail to consider is that the plan to stage the event was already well know, understood, and planned for by POTUS and countermeasures were enacted.

Where's Nancy Pelosi's laptop...:smoker:
When you bend over that far backward to conjure bizarre excuses for tRump, do your lips ever reach your own arse?

Now, let your comment stay fresh in your mind, Hempy, and seek out the known number of vaccines in our history (let alone rabndom day-to-day Rx drugs) that are also not experimental, that were not administered in any 'experiement', per se', and which also cause side effects for a varying number of people, depending on which vaccine is being discussed.
Are you making my point again? :tiphat:

Yes, definitions matter. As Hempy has pointed out to you countless times now. But, also you must realize when someone is using language in a 'loose' way. Common, everyday people do it commonly, everyday.

The coincidence is that he focussed on the main media assets (the viking) and Pelosi's daughter films Ray Epps and finds his behavior shocking and concerning, saying, "OMG, how did that guy get up there?!" When it was obvious how he got up there. If Ray Epps was so noteworthy, why is he not in jail? Why has he not been made to answer to the January 6th committee. He seems to be the most active participant of the whole event. They don't want to make an example of the leader?

Trump asked protesters to march peacefully. I noticed the "..." at the end of your little Trump quote. What was the full quote?
Ever work in a fish hatchery pulling eggs and sperm from fish carcasses, Hempy??

I'm certain it's some form of evidence of a conspiracy, but, AMAZINGLY, hatchery fish (ie. Prince WIlliam Sound Port of Valdez silver salmon, as one specific example), tend to be NOTABLY larger than the other surrounding areas' wild-caught silvers.

Why might that be, Hempy?

Here's a pretty solid hypothesis... People are often drawn to those things that stand out.. Like large fucking fish.. Their eyes see the monsters and the midgets, everything else is random mediocrity unless it has some unique injury or colors. Period.

So they often grab the biggest fish first, not even necessarily based on a conscious decision or even a conscious perception. They're often working too fast-paced for such nuances.

Here's a clue. Humans often notice odd shit...

Now, given that tiny tidbit about our perceptions as a species, why do you suppose a PHOTO JOURNALIST might have noted a guy with paint on his face and belly, a horned fur viking hat, and a matching vest?
I'll wait while you consider all of this.

Or, maybe it was a fish marketers' conspiracy, put together by those who support farmed fish with all of the genetic defects.

Pull your head out of your ass, Hempy. It's not becoming.

Don't they breed them to be bigger?

Sounds like you are saying that approved drugs cause side effects. So, experimental drugs are even riskier. Hempy agrees with you on that 100%.

They don't 'breed' at all, per se'. The hatchery is pulling roe from carcasses, as they are pulling sperm.

It's a random job with tables and tables of fish laid out in totes next to the tables.

No, they're not breeding trophy stock as a standard that I've ever heard of.

In fact, hatchery fish are less desireable overall, for some very basic reasons, and especially if that hatchery exists in the salt water; meaning the fish never get to swim upstream to spawn; they return to their spawning grounds (the building and net area) while they're still in salt water.

Salmon often (kind of surprisingly, and doubtful that it's coincidental) carry an amount of oil or fat onboard sufficient to take them where they need to go to spawn... their birth place in most cases..
Kenai River reds are going a much shorter distance than Yukon River fish or Copper River fish in most cases.

The Kenai River fish typically have SUBSTANTIALLY less oil content than a Copper River red salmon. I've smoked plenty of them, and the difference in volume of collected oil is literally visible. and the hatchery silvers are grainy in my appraisal. Not nearly as desirable as other fish we've caught in the wild and smoked.

The Valdez Hatchery silvers are essentially an artificial market with a substandard result that keeps a species closer to healthy in a commericial fishing and oil transporting area on the Coast of Alaska. Little more.

Oh, there's apt to be ongoing research involving those hatchery fish, as well.

Not sure currently. Been years since I lived there, fewer since I visited, but still a few.

Um, I don't think that is what most people got from that. You over-emphasized the word 'randomly,' which was a word sort of casually used by whoever posted that. I think they were implying 'coincidentally' sarcasicly. Like "Oh, sure, you just randomly had a film crew how convenient. (in sarcasm). Other than that, you are stating the basic point. That Pelosi's son in law was chilling with and interviewing the main 'star of the show' 'pre-show.' Remember the pics of all the professional camera crew members taking pictures of him posing, which I posted long ago?? We'll see how coincidental it all really is... :rasta:

What 'photo?'
@moose eater, So, you say it wasn't 'random.' Well, Hempy agrees with you. Why was it more important for Pelosi to have a film crew than it was for her to have national guard present?

What exactly makes you think anyone will show up to testify under oath anymore?

You idiots will lose your shit when Obama says no.

You don't actually think trump will testify, do you?
Obama will have to at some point. Yes, I think it is fairly likely that Trump will testify.

At this point it's not plausible to say you continue to miss the point. It's more a matter of you running a broad path around the point at a great radius.

The lack of randomness involved the fact that MANY people in that industry were present that day for the purpose of being there for the certification of the election, as well as the messaging on social media that there would be some sort of (potentially) mass gathering at the Capitol.

That is not random.

Pelosi's son-in-law's relationship to Pelosi in the midst of, or in contrast to, all -sorts- of journalists being in that location for those very reasons, the certification and the mass gathering... pretty random..

I bet there was a cop or three there that was related to a protestor or 2, too. And??????

Edit: Hempy, you frequently try to make proverbial/metaphorical omelettes, but frankly, often lack any eggs. I guess that's not a bad analogy/metaphor, as we were recently talking about stripping salmon roe, though a salmon roe omelette would not necessarily be all that appetizing. No thanks.

Preserved roe, maybe. Salted/brined, etc. Not bad in limited amounts, perhaps then, but otherwise, not bad fish bait once cured... Curing helps to keep it on a hook better, though you still might use a piece of sheer non-colored panty hose to wrap the roe in. Then it stays on the hook much mo' betta'.
