i just want to say for the record. in stoneys defense,
hes absolutely right about all the bottles.
they all work, but so do i.
so ill save my money.
i use one single solitary ingredient through almost entire flower. yield and quality are the two most important factors. thats why i stopped buying anything they sell at a cannabis nutrient store and started buying raw simple salts and making my own or going with a cheap one part powder for cannabis, maxibloom ftw. ph and watch the dankest run youve ever seen unfold. why people think they need anything else i have no idea.
go try to find a single farmer in the world who would use any of the crap they sell at grow stores.

or maxigrow first week and half of flower. maxibloom throughout the rest. highest quality ive seen and yield too. e.c. 1.2-1.3

yield and quality have more to do with environment and managing root health and moisture. if you have a good technique, any nute regimen at the right strength will work similar. price and ease of use will be the biggest differences. 6/9, k.i.s.s. gh 3 part. canna, h&g bpb, doesnt matter as long as you watch plants and feed correctly.
also if you feed correctly your roots should be fine without any micro support although i wont say i think its totally useless at all either. you can colonize coco its just harder.

Have you played around with NPK industries at all? Or dragonfly (DEM)???

I won't be purchasing anything General Hydroponic anymore since they are owned by scotts and that money trickles to down to monsanto.

Also going to be getting into dirt ^_^ Down to Earth specifically.

Theres a lot going on in the nutrient world, theres also GreenStone Nutrients and the swampboys crew are really shining in the scene.

May I inquire what nutrients you utilize?

Also have you tried using H&G Roots Excelerator? Only thing I found that works alike is OG Tea Root Web Star and Great White.

ive seen npk up at the store. i thought it was interesting and all but there are really inexpensive pure soluble nutes for sale at wilco 15 minutes up the road. they sell blends that have a micro nutrient blend that works well enough for cannabis for the most part but doesnt contain the calcium nitrate.
when you see two part liquids, they are doing the same thing. calcium and mag/sul will bind and fall out.
so i use a couple different blends but mainly jacks 5-12-26 hydroponic nutes. its important to not use anything not intended for hydro as it will contain urea.
there are other brands too. this is the one i start with right now.
it has been formulated by another member but they add calcium nitrate at either equal parts by volume or at a 3 part to 2 parts cal nitrate by weight. slightly different recipes but they are very close.
i also like maxibloom or grow depending on week. maxibloom is sufficient for veg but i like their veg formula better.
using a nute calculator you could tweak several inexpensive base blends to suit this purpose.
currently im looking into using their 16-4-17 with the 15-5-15 in a one part stock for a doser.
you can do this super easy and its way easier to mix two raw salts by weight or volume than a mil or two here and there of a bunch of way marked up liquids.
maxibloom is super easy if you want a one part sat that doesnt need anything to create excellent connoisseur grade hydro if you believe the two arent mutually exclusive end pursuits. i grow a lot of the same things over and over and im geting better results in all aspects in coco and these two recipes than anything previous including organic soil. im no master though. i could be not nailing most styles.
maxibloom is also too expensive though too imo.but its the cheapest out of the bag solution grade nutes ive found. . jacks is cheap as fuck and so is generic solution grade cal/nit.
if you boost jacks has one too. its a stand alone,meaning instead of boosting with it you replace your feed during the boost period with this salt blend . people have given good reviews.

and monsanto. aye ya ya. yes i hate them too. its stoopid. its also easy to make. if you want that bend you can get wilco to formulate it but you have to buy full bags of stuff and build it yourself. itd still be cheaper even having to buy a custom micro blend and add to tweak it than to use mb.

all those bottles do is redirect peoples money who dont want to learn horticulture skills but want to pay extra to stay in the game. you can use any hydro nute that roughly meets the certain npk + micros that cannabis wants. then its just style and technique and solution strength.

if you switch to mb for a round, youll see improvement. its perfect enough.

Hey, I been sad as hell recently, all because I don't have my own garden... and this is part of the problem.

I don't grow for myself anymore, infact I am barely able to keep my genetics, thanks to good friends, otherwise Id be out of everything. Right now I'm growing/consulting other gardens/gardeners and as much as I am trying to steer them in the organic direction, Compost Teas are a great start.

I got the DEM nutes but never ran out of GH 6/9 as I had to stop growing and move. I got V+B from one of the reps enough for a full 4k run at least with all the additions.

If I were you I would be STOKED that I am around, I got two farms off Phosphoload and onto Jacks which BTW is good as fuck and better imo than GH 6/9 and it may not be organic but with a proper flush, it don't matter.

I got over 30 lights off that PGR shit and down to 2 bottles from whole Shelves. ITs INCREDIBLE how behind some folks are in the Nutrient game. I'm saving thousands of dollars helping change their gardening practices for a more healthy positive future.

A lot of nutrient choices depend on many variables, out here in Socal theres mostly indoor/hydro and organic soil is rare. Its all about the 8 week turn around... these fools with phosphoload arent even hitting 2# per light. My test tray came out at 2.3# per light, around gpw, but not really if you factor in everything. I started using probiotics, compost teas, and the Jacks with innoculants. Now compost teas are a highlight in the schedule and passion for the right principles are building.

Being on both sides is hard on a medical grower too, because at one end the ethical side of me really questions these farms, but on the other hand, I like to eat food and am just building up reputation and experience that will help me in the future be a shining light that helps guide others.

For instance in LA you can't really do drain to waste, the water conservation here is really a difficult part of the puzzle. But mostly everyone is still growing DTW... it sucks being part of the system...

I really can't wait to get out and do my own thing. With due time, but at the moment capital and land space to grow are not available, here, unless you wanna add to the compounding problems.

Its honestly quite depressing not being able to grow your own, and its god damn'ed difficult to grow for others who aren't on the same frequency as you. Hopefully the investments I have made, merit return.

I'm going through a tough time in my life but i can't complain, I have food a home and quite an extraordinary life still going to school and living in such a beautiful place.

Its all about how you get up, not how you fell down or how hard.
